Bug fixes and polish: • Upcoming events on the dashboard now hide once they've started and consolidate the same recurring event across siblings into a single row with every child's avatar. • Children and their avatars now sort oldest first across the dashboard, calendar agenda, and per-day previews.

Your widgets just got smarter — they now refresh at midnight so you always wake up to today's schedule, not yesterday's. Notification settings actually work now. If you turned off calendar reminders, they stay off. Everything feels faster: calendar conflicts resolve 10x quicker, notifications reach everyone at once, and expense lists load instantly. Plus: updated security frameworks, 8 bug fixes, and a cleaner codebase under the hood.

Apple Calendar Sync — Your AuPairSync events now appear in Apple Calendar automatically, and changes sync both ways. Enable it in Settings > Calendar Sync. Time-Off Requests — Au pairs can request time off directly in the app. Parents approve or deny with a tap, and approved days are blocked in the calendar. Event Conflict Detection — Get warned about scheduling overlaps before you save, so double-bookings are caught early. Friends & Playdate Contacts — Track your children's friends and their parents' contact info. One-tap call, text, or email — plus contact import from your phone. Help Center & Blog — In-app guides and blog articles with practical tips for families and au pairs, in English and German. Also new: Visa & program-end reminders, au pair emergency quick-access card, unread message badges on shopping lists, contact import on all screens, and a shopping list getting-started guide.
