What's new in Avelio 1.2 • Profiles: everyone in your household can have their own profile, with their own progress, Up Next and suggestions. Profiles are included with Avelio Plus. • Set what each profile can watch, and protect your own profile with a PIN or Face ID. • A redesigned Watch Now and title pages, with each title's logo, your progress on Play, and a details card with languages, rating and run time. • Ask understands more questions in English and Dutch and keeps track of follow-up questions. • Filter Library and Discover by server, multiple genres or decade, and sort them by title, date added, release date or rating. • Your likes and settings stay in sync across your devices. • Performance improvements and bug fixes.

Watch free in HD Your library now plays free in up to 1080p HD. Avelio Plus adds 4K, HDR, Dolby Vision and offline downloads, and new subscribers can try it free for a month. Play in HD When a title is in 4K and another copy is in HD, Avelio offers to play that one instead. Subtitles made simple Automatic chooses subtitles in your language and tells you which ones it is showing. A title's own subtitles come first, the best online matches are one tap away, and more subtitle files now display correctly. Search your library Pull down in Library to search it as you type. Straight to the series Show Details on an episode in Up Next now opens its series at that episode, and every episode page can take you to its series. Report a problem If something won't play, choose Report Problem. You see exactly what's included before anything is sent, and it never contains personal information. You can also send feedback any time from Settings. Better trailers Proper widescreen trailers come first. Hold your iPhone upright and a vertical trailer plays when the studio made one. Your whole library in one place Library › All shows the movies and shows of every server together, each show once. Sort by title, date added, release date or rating, filter by what you've watched or by several genres at once, and drag the letter index to scroll straight to any title. Collections and playlists Browse your servers' collections and playlists, see which collection a title belongs to, and add titles to a playlist or start a new one. Extras Behind-the-scenes clips and featurettes from Jellyfin, Emby and Plex appear on a title's page. Choose your streaming quality Set a quality for Wi-Fi and for cellular in Settings. Automatic plays the original, or on cellular a smaller version already on your servers. Watch your way Mark a whole season or series as watched, remove a title from Up Next, and hide spoilers for episodes you haven't seen. Siri and Spotlight Ask Siri to continue watching, play the next episode or open a title, and find your movies and shows in Spotlight. A cleaner Avelio Watch Now leads with what you're watching and your recommendations, every trailer shows its own picture, and screens show only what you can do. Pictures are sharper on iPad and load faster on iPhone. Fixes Some Dolby Vision and HDR episodes that wouldn't start now play, and Up Next no longer flickers.
