Love playing this backgammon game. I downloaded it because of your commitment to St Jude! Two things that I think would really make the game much better. 1. An undo button that would work for one move would be great. I quite often forget to swap the dice when I want to use the lower number first. It’s not about cheating it’s about being realistic to how the board game is played. I’d never accidentally move 3 when I meant to move 1 on the board. 2. A concede button or give up button would be nice. When it’s clear you are going to lose the round, is there any reason to keep playing?I don’t want this to take away from the enjoyment of the game in this review. Those are just suggestions. First off, this app looks great—probably the best available in that regard. However, it does need some features added to be something I’d actually want to use. Primarily, there’s no doubling cube, and the computer plays very poorly, with no option to change the difficulty setting. There are also some minor annoyances like not being able to move the same checker with both dice at once with one tap. If they add that functionality, this could easily become my preferred backgammon app, and one I’d happily pay for even.

I w been struggling to find a decent backgammon game which I can play in the subway. This is better than anything else I’ve tried so far, and I’ve gone through 12-14 of them. AI seems to be reasonably competent, although I’ve only played two games so far before the app asked for a review 🙄When bearing off there are some minor quirks, and I’ve also not found out how to double, but those niggles aside this is good enough for me to delete every other backgammon app I have installed.

Pluses: simple graphics, smooth game play, can play in airplane mode, can play with another player (only in person), fair dice, no interrupting play ads, no other shenanigans Minuses: no doubling cube, no difficulty levels for computer opponent (only easy), no two player play with a friend online
