1. Open BeamDrop and tap "Select Photos or Videos"
2. The app instantly displays a local address — for example, http://192.168.1.5:8080
3. On any PC or Mac, open Chrome, Edge, Safari, or Firefox and type that address
4. A clean gallery appears showing every file you selected
5. Tap a thumbnail to download individually, or tap "Download All"

BeamDrop has no backend, no analytics, no ads, and no third-party SDKs. It does not collect, transmit, or store any data. Your photos and videos travel from your iPhone directly to your computer browser — nowhere else.

BeamDrop is purpose-built native software, not a web clip. The app actively manages the HTTP server lifecycle, handles iOS foreground/background transitions and automatically restarts the service when you return to the app, integrates with the native Photos picker, monitors network changes and switches between Wi-Fi and Hotspot modes automatically, and keeps the screen awake during transfers to prevent iOS from suspending the session.
