As someone who has had problems falling asleep for years because of raving thoughts and now tinnitus that developed in the last year, I was desperate. I never heard of brown noise until I was researching tinnitus. I found several apps for this sound, but they were rather expensive. I found this free app and tried it. I wasn’t expecting much but the brown noise, as opposed to white noise, was different,. it sounded like I was on an airplane, which usually puts me to sleep.From the hour plus it normally took me to fall asleep, it takes me about 15 minutes. And it blocks my tinnitus fairly efficiently. I still hear it, but the brown noise makes it less obvious. I keep it on all night and though I still wake up every hour or two, I’m able to fall back to sleepquickly.I was thinking of trying other apps and go for the free trials, but then I thought that if this app is working why try anything else?

I don’t know how an app could get more perfect. It knows what it is (a noise machine app), has a clear goal and achieves it, is simple to use, looks good, works in airplane mode, and doesn’t collect user data. (Seriously, why do other brown noise apps track users across other apps??) I can’t appreciate this app enough, and I’ve moved my family members using other brown noise apps to this one. Simple, elegant, and completely on point. I wish more apps were this good!

i love the fact that you can select the level of depth for your color. I’ve never seen that before in any of the apps that are out there on the market. This is something beyond what’s available. I love this, and I love the fact that I can either lighten the depth or deepen the depth of the color. This is incredible. It’s awesome and I love it. You guys have done a great job. What a good find and thank you for turning me to this. I couldn’t be happier. This will help so much.

Just started using it, so haven't tried all the sounds to see which is best for me. I do like the three sound levels! Also, this app will play and turn off using the timer even while phone is in lock mode! I like that the sound fades as the timer ends.
