Browser Opener allows you to open links with a specified browser. For example, you prefer Safari in daily life, but use Chrome or Firefox for web development. Just add a rule for it, then every external link (links that are not from a browser) will be opened in any specific browser you want. Browser Opener: - Add URL rules to open a specific browser. Currently supports Hostname Keyword, Hostname Suffix, Whole Hostname, and Regexp rules. - Add custom browsers to handle links. - Add browser profile or private/guest mode to handle links. Dev is very responsive in addressing issues. Since version 2.0.3 it has worked perfectly for me. Regex/host suffix match are great features. This app is doing much better than similar contenders like "Browserosaurus", which does not have URL match feature & require a manual browser selection each time an URL is clicked.

I tried several other similar apps, but this one actually does everything I need:1) Let me set any app as a browser. NOTE: You will not actually be able to set any app. The app has to accept a URL. Even apps created by some browsers for a website may not work. In Safari, it works for atlassian.net (Jira/Confluence) but not for github.com (strangely). Github does work when creating the browser app in Edge though.2) Easily set rules to assign each URL to open in a specific app (filter by keyword or host name).3) Works with SSO (single sign on) redirect loops. This sometimes breaks other similar apps.

I cannot add /maps* to a rule in order to only open Google Maps in a web app.

Sorry for the inconvenience, after the latest update, you can use Regexp rule for this kind of requirement, for example, "\/maps" (without quotes). Thanks!
