Was having frustrations with ADO bus app for booking bus tickets in Mexico in advance. The ADO website was glitching out and interface seemed to be a bit clunky. Decided to spend the extra few dollars on BusBud and it is worth it for the added convenience and seem less interface. You can log in via AppleID and pay with Apple Pay, saves you the extra hassle. Plus, everything being in English, as my Spanish is not fluent is a big help. 5/5 from me.

I saw a review from another person stating the app had messed up their departure city. I chalked it up to user error and decided to book with Busbud because the pricing was significantly better. Twice it attempted to default my purchase to a different time than I wanted. I swear I selected my departure time VERY carefully, paid for my tickets and felt good. I went back to double check my reservation and view the e-ticket and it was back at the time I didn’t want! I ended up going through Amtrak to fix the issue and ended up paying extra to have the correct departure time. I should have just booked with Amtrak from the beginning.

I recently purchased tickets with busbud. The website clearly has a form that allows cancellation. I tried to cancel the trip within around 30 min from booking time but was not able to do so. The information shown on the website is incorrect and has to be changed not to scam users! I also found cases where people got a refund for their trips but the agent that got my inquiry refuses to assist me. Very frustrating experience.

However we do provide an optional add-on at checkout, Refund for Any Reason, that if purchased allows you to cancel your trip up to 15 minutes prior to departure for a full credit refund!
