Cache 1.5 — What's New - Smarter parallel identification. When Cache infers a parallel from card numbering (like Gold Foil /399) rather than reading it directly off the card, it now tells you. An orange VERIFY chip and a plain-English hint appear right on the field so you always know what the app read vs. what it figured out. - eBay comps that never come up empty. The comp engine now searches in five progressive tiers — exact match first, then widening out to same product/same denomination, then same product any parallel, then player + year. If there's no exact sold listing, you still see useful market data with a clear label explaining what you're looking at. - Cleaner cold starts. Eliminated ~50 lines of orange log noise on every install. TestFlight crash logs are now actually useful.

"Gold Foil /399" on a 2025 Topps Series 1 card is now named correctly from the product's parallel ladder, not a generic fallback. — Year is now sourced from the copyright line on the card back, not the stats table. If you subscribed and didn't see your plan update, it will now activate correctly. - Improved card identification accuracy. The scanner is now less likely to misread player names or blend product names on unfamiliar cards. - Added scan validation — the app now cross-checks scan results against the card database and warns you if something looks off. - Scan limit is now clearly communicated. When you've used all your scans, you'll see a clear message with upgrade options instead of the screen locking up.

Pricing now appears automatically after every scan. Recent eBay sold listings — sold range, median price, and number of transactions — load the moment your card is identified. No extra taps. Star Wars Unlimited and Marvel Champions cards are now in the database. Scan, identify, and price them just like sports cards and Pokémon. Database expanded to over 2.1 million cards across 2,803 sets.

Database overhaul — The entire card identification engine has been rebuilt on SQLite. Searches that previously scanned 127 MB of raw data now hit indexed queries, making player lookups, set browsing, and card search dramatically faster. The database now covers over 2.1 million cards across 2,744 sets. Vintage sports coverage — Added baseball (1952–2003), football (1974–2003), and basketball (1977–2008). Mickey Mantle, Willie Mays, Joe Montana, Michael Jordan, and every major vintage player are now in the database. Fixed One Piece TCG — Resolved a crash that prevented One Piece card sets from loading. Improved diagnostics — Better error logging across all data sources for faster troubleshooting.
