Callulu puts eight quiet visual cues in your Mac's menu bar, for the moments that decide how a workday goes: starting, staying with something, stepping back, and stopping at a reasonable hour. Each cue has one job, shown under its name in the menu. Pick the one you need, and it appears on the screen for a moment or for as long as you leave it on. FREE FOR 14 DAYS, THEN $3.99 ONCE All eight cues work during the trial. After 14 days the cues pause until you unlock them with one purchase. THE EIGHT CUES • LIGHTNING (Begin): A brief flash across the screen, the signal that work has started. • SHADE (Focus): Darkens the menu bar and the edges of the screen so the center of your work stands alone. • WISP (Pause): A light passes along the edge for a second, at an interval you choose. • EMBER (Feel Safe): A quiet, shifting light stays lit at the edge and keeps you company through a long stretch. • UNDINE (Regain Composure): A water surface appears across the screen, a cue to return to calm. • LULL (Step Back): An eye appears, for looking at the situation from one step away. • SYLPH (Reset): A breathing guide. • LUNA (Finish): Softens the whole screen as the signal to end the day. SHADE, WISP, EMBER, LULL and LUNA stay on until you switch them off, one by one or all at once. LIGHTNING, UNDINE and SYLPH run once, when you call them. Effect strength and colors are adjustable. MORE WAYS TO USE IT • Call cues from other apps through callulu:// links, from the Shortcuts app, Raycast, Alfred, a Stream Deck or Terminal. The cues that stay on take on, off or toggle; the three that run once take run; callulu://all/off stops everything. For example: callulu://shade/on or callulu://lightning/run. • LUNA Time: LUNA can appear on its own at a time you choose, every day. The list runs from 17:00 to 23:00, and "Custom…" at the end takes any hour and minute. • WISP interval: thirteen presets, and "Custom…" at the end of the list takes any hours and minutes, from 1 minute up to 24 hours. PRIVACY Your settings stay on your Mac, and Callulu keeps no record of your day. The unlock purchase goes through the App Store. A NOTE ON LIGHT LIGHTNING is a brief flash across the whole screen, and several cues change display brightness. If you are sensitive to flashing light, you never have to call LIGHTNING. It runs only when you ask for it and never starts by itself. You can also lower the effect strength. Requires macOS 13 or later. Apple silicon and Intel.
