CalvingWatch helps cattle farmers monitor a calving pen using a supported shed camera. Use CalvingWatch to: • check that fresh camera pictures are reaching the service; • view the latest available picture from the calving pen; • receive an alert when repeated signs suggest a cow may need attention; • acknowledge an alert when you are checking the animal; • invite an authorised backup watcher; and • control optional analytics, footage-training consent, and account deletion. CalvingWatch works with supported IP cameras and requires reliable camera power, farm internet, and phone notifications. Camera compatibility is checked during setup. CalvingWatch is a decision-support tool. It can miss an event, alert late, or send a false alert. It does not replace normal livestock checks, experienced judgement, or veterinary advice.
