Caps Lock Notifications - never hit caps lock unnoticed anymore! Ever hit caps lock by mistake and SUDDENLY WROTE EVERYTHING IN UPPERCASE? Do no more! With CapsLocker you will get a little hint that you just enabled (or disabled) caps lock. These are the features: - Shows a small HUD whenever the caps lock key is pressed. - Adapts to the dark mode of macOS if enabled. - Shows current caps lock state in the menu bar. - Optionally plays a sound whenever caps lock is activated or deactivated.

Why can they no longer make a caps lock key that stays down when active? I’ve been used to this feature since manual typewriters, IBM selectrics and the Apple Keyboard II. I was so disgusted when I could no longer use my Apple Keyboards with serial/usb converters. My new daskeyboard is nice except for no caps lock lock. The little blue light is useless because you’re touch-typing, not looking at the keyboard. I use all caps for emphasis in typesetting and get frustrated when I’ve forgotten to unlock caps lock and have to retype.. Capslocker’s big visual arrow on screen is a BIG reminder. THANK YOU!

For a 20 year Windows user, this App is an absolute necessity... just buy it! Due to my inxperience with Mac, I had an issue with the menulet disappearing at each startup. (... didn't know I could get to Preferences by clicking on the menulet and selecting "Load on Startup") The developers answered my question quickly and succinctly. I found even more capability then expected... colored icon (green for Caps Off, red for Caps On), duration of the Icon display, and turning a tone on or off. Works great on my Macbook Pro M1.

I replaced my Apple keyboard with a Logitech keyboard that has much longer battery life. Unfortunately, the new keyboard does not have a caps lock indicator. This software is just what I needed! The indicator allows you to adjust how long it stays on the screen and you can set it so it is color coded (Green or Red). This is even better than an indicator on the keyboard! Highly recommended if you need to know if caps lock is on or off.

First of all, it works perfectly. I like that you have the option to have the icon persist (instead of having it appear for x seconds and then disappear).I do have three small requests.1. I work in a 27 inch iMac and my eyes tend to use the top 3/4 of the screen 90% of the time. It would be awesome if the icon could be displayed a bit higher.2. I don't use night mode but my desktop background is dark. I would like the option to manually enable the brighter version of the icon.3. The current sound notification is too long. I would like the option to choose different sounds, preferably a shorter tone like a gentle "pop" sound.Excellent app, thank you!

- Updated for the newest macOS releases. - Fix position of HUD on external screens. - Automatically move HUD to currently active screen. And a bit more "technical": - The CLI tool now has options to terminate with an exit code that depends on the caps lock state.
