Need a Snellen eye chart for a quick at-home vision check or a classroom? ChartEye makes a true-size Snellen-style eye chart for your viewing distance, on screen and as a printable PDF.
Set the viewing distance from 5 to 20 feet. Each letter's height follows the Snellen standard — a 20/20 letter subtends 5 arc minutes at that distance — so the rows are the right size when you stand back at the chosen distance.
• EIGHT SNELLEN ROWS — from 20/200 down to 20/20, each labeled with its acuity value, at every distance from 5 to 20 ft.
• TRUE-SIZE PRINTABLE PDF — letters sized by their actual printed height; when the rows need more room, the chart continues on a second Letter page instead of leaving any row out. A 100 mm scale bar lets you confirm the printer didn't shrink the page.
• TRUE-SIZE ON SCREEN — after a quick card calibration, the phone shows one row at a time at its real size; step between larger and smaller rows.
• TUMBLING E — a chart for children or anyone who doesn't read Latin letters, with each E facing a random direction; shuffle for a fresh set.
• CARD CALIBRATION — hold a bank or debit card upright against the screen and match the outline, so the on-screen letters are true size on your device.
