Choose a root note and chord type, add a bass note, and hear the result with piano or guitar sounds recorded for Chorded. Use the keyboard to try notes and identify the chords they form.
When an idea starts to take shape, arrange it in Compose. Set the tempo, time signature, and number of bars, then add chords and lead notes as you build your song. Save your composition, return to it later, or export it as a MIDI file for use in your music workflow.

Chorded 1.1 adds a Guitar tab, drum rhythms and an easier way to sketch your song ideas.

- Guitar tab: tap frets on each string and Chorded names the chord you're holding.
- Copy & paste chords: copy a chord in Play Chords, Keyboard or Guitar and paste it into Compose. Paste a chord into Keyboard or Guitar to see how to play it.
- Circle of fifths: pick roots in Play Chords from a list or the circle of fifths.
- Rhythms: 30+ drum patterns from Pop and Rock to Bossa Nova, Jazz, Waltz and 6/8, plus a simple click.
- Chord length: play each chord once per bar, every 2 beats, every beat or every 8th note.
- 30 chord types in every tab, including 6/9, 9th, 11th and 13th chords.
- 6/8 time, and up to 128 bars in Compose.
- MIDI Out now includes the drums.
