Smarter conversation view Opening a conversation now reliably scrolls to your latest messages. Scroll up to browse history — a date label appears to keep you oriented, then fades after a few seconds. It reappears whenever you scroll again. Live read receipts The double-checkmark now updates promptly when the other person reads your message, without waiting for your next action. Reactions Long-press any message to react with an emoji. Tap "React" from the menu that appears. Typing indicator The typing indicator now floats over the messages instead of pushing the conversation up. Cleaner names Contacts now show by display name only - no more redundant username in parentheses. Conversation history Scroll to the top of any conversation to automatically load earlier messages. A floating date label keeps you oriented as you browse back in time - message timestamps now show time only, since the date is always visible. Notifications while in-app Banners and sounds are suppressed when you already have a conversation open. Messages still arrive instantly on screen. Reconnect after disconnect Revoking a connection no longer clears the conversation. A banner appears on both sides with a one-tap option to send a new invite. Invite limits Each user pair can exchange up to 3 invites, preventing accidental spam. Scheduling The "Their time" option is now hidden when the recipient is in your timezone - no unnecessary toggle clutter. • Share from any app - Tap Share in Safari, Notes, or anywhere else and send the text straight to a ClockU contact - choose recipient, pick a sound, schedule it, all without leaving the app you're in. • Invite links - Share your personal invite link; anyone who taps it opens ClockU with your username pre-filled, ready to connect. • Link previews - Paste a URL and a preview card (title, description, site) loads automatically. Reply to messages Long-press any message to reply with a quoted preview. The recipient sees exactly what you're responding to. Read receipts A single approval means your alert reached the device. A filled approval icon means the recipient opened it. Unread badges Conversations with new messages show a badge count. Messages are marked read only when you open the conversation — not when they arrive in the background. Works offline Send alerts without a connection. They're queued locally and delivered automatically when you're back online. A banner lets you know when there's no internet. Hide message content on lock screen New privacy setting: turn off notification previews so the lock screen shows "New message" instead of the content. Find it in Settings → Privacy. Reliability improvements Failed sends show an error and can be retried with a tap. Notifications are automatically cleared from the notification center once you've read them in the app.
