Contextify 1.7.7 fixes a crash and makes more of your history searchable. A new class of entries, like local command runs and away summaries, are now included in the database. The recently reworked project tab bar got some additional refinement, so git worktrees inside a project organize the same way projects do.

1.7.6 is a small bugfix release. If the first launch after upgrading from an older version felt slow or left your project tabs mis-grouped, both are fixed: the one-time reorganize now finishes in seconds and shows its progress. Previously, in 1.7.5: a ground-up redesign of the tab bar into family tabs with lane chips, a Cmd+K command palette with Cmd+backtick worktree cycling, continuous background history updates, and a right-click project path menu with reveal and open at every level.

What's New in 1.7.5 The project switcher is redesigned. Your worktrees now group into family tabs with lane chips, the tab bar shows only what you are working on, and tabs reorder so the projects you touched most recently sit up front. A new Cmd+K palette jumps to any project by name, and Cmd+backtick cycles through the worktrees of whichever project you are already in. Overhauled and shiny transcript ingestion engine. Contextify now drains new transcript activity in the background and resumes where it left off, so recent sessions show up faster and the app stays responsive while it catches up. Fixed regression causing main window to hide when inactive, with other minor refinements throughout the UI.

What's New in 1.7.4 Personal Self-Hosted, which keeps your synced history on hardware you control, now includes an agent-guided setup skill for Claude Code and Codex. Ask your agent to run the setup, and it pauses at the hostname, networking, and owner-account decisions. Total Recall search is smarter too. It favors your real past-session history over current-session chatter and tells your agent when a query is too narrow.
