Menu bar Countdowns application developed from scratch to macOS Big Sur

Countdowns app makes it easy to remember your essential dates without counting days in a calendar. Birthdays, holidays, new movie premiere, wedding anniversary, Superbowl finals, project deadline, current Pomodoro Technique time unit (called Pomodoro), or new iPhone release date. You can also track the progress of a year, school semester, or workweek. Are you pride of staying away from bad habit? Use “since” formatter to display how long ago you drop it.
All this happens when you use your macOS with a glance at the Menu bar. Make this a ritual. At the beginning of the workday, you can expand a list of your countdowns and see how much time is left for these critical events. It helps you stay organized and better manage your time.
Countdowns come with a list of predefined countdown and progress items, but you can easily add a new one. Countdowns can also be set as repeating events that happen daily, weekly, monthly, or yearly.
Customize your Notification Center with new Big Sur widgets. You can control items displayed on them as well as the color of the background.
Now with iCloud synchronization - your countdowns will stay the same on all your devices.
• Create an unlimited number of countdowns
• Use custom time and progress formatting options
• Keep Countdowns updates coming

Ratings and Reviews
Really like, but should allow two events in free mode
I am looking for a countdown ticker type app to live in my menu bar for events like vacations etc. This app appears to be what I need. I am willing to pay the 10 bucks for full version, but lite mode only lets you set one countdown and I'd like to see how app handles two or more countdowns before I pay 10 bucks!!!
Otherwise, this app look reallys good.

Thank you for your review.
Adding unlimited countdowns is (for now) only premium feature of Countdown app. So I intentionally make only one countdown available in the free version. But I understand your concerns. I know that this doesn't fully satisfy your needs, but you can look at the first screen on App Store. It shows how Countdown list looks expanded.
Nevertheless, I'm very happy that you like this app.
Have a nice day
Simple and great app, fast problem solving by the developers
I’am a free user and I like the single countdown simply sitting in my menubar constantly reminding me how long left to my doom (deadline). Perfect app for procrastinators, not distracting and it simply works. Developers also quickly solved the extensive cpu usage problem in 1.4.3. I don’t know how I got the version 1.4.4 (minor missing feature: can’t see the version number in the app) but it solved the problem and app works quietly (without causing extensive fan noise) as before.

Thank you for the review. It's always a pleasure to read words like this. I'm sorry for the problems with previous version.
Great app, but new update introduces bug that makes it unusuable
The app is great for keeping me on time for deadlines, but I cannot use it any more because the new update causes this app to use 100% of one CPU all the time. I'm not sure if there's a runaway loop or memory leak, but this does not seem correct!
Developer Response ,
Hello, the update is already approved and it is only a matter of time when it will be ready for download. Sorry for the inconvenience.
