Should a form field row exist without a field, a separator will be added to the row. Rows without a field can only occur due to a bug, as DataOrganizer is supposed to remove a row after the final field residing in that row is removed.

• Fixed an issue were DataOrganizer would crash if a CSV or TSV file failed to import properly.

• DataOrganizer 2023.0.1 fixes an issue where drag-and-dropping an image out of a media collection field and into the Finder would result in the dropped file receiving an incorrect extension, typically “mov”. This has now been corrected.

• Finally added a manual/written documentation as a Help Book. See Help menu for more info. • Minor UI tweaks were made regarding CSV/TSV import and the Recently Deleted section in the source list.

• When the system awakes from sleep in DataOrganizer 2022.1, the lock screen is only supposed to be displayed if a login password is required when DataOrganizer is inactive after a specified period of time. However, the lock screen will always be displayed after the system awakes even if “Never” is selected, which was unintentional. This behavior has been corrected in this version.

For some time, DataOrganizer has provided the ability to require a password at startup (Settings…/Preferences… > Security tab). DataOrganizer 2022.1 adds the ability to also require a password after DataOrganizer has been inactive for a specified amount of time (after 5, 10, 15, 30, or 60 minutes). DataOrganizer can also require a password on demand using DataOrganizer > Lock DataOrganizer Now (Option-Command-L).

• Regarding DataOrganizer > Send Feedback, added additional system information to a new feedback message’s subject.

• Fixed an issue where the "Activate DataOrganizer" screen would only display a stretched out version of the "Yearly" button. The 14-day trial and "Monthly" would not be displayed. • When run in macOS 13.0 Ventura, DataOrganizer now uses the modern in app purchase system. (It uses StoreKit 2.)

• When importing a CSV or a TSV file, both “Duration” and “New Duration” can now be chosen for a particular column that will be imported as a field. • When exporting a library or stack as a CSV file, durations are now exported as they are shown within duration fields. • Fixed an issue where the importer may crash when attempting to import a number formatted as currency.

• Fixed a few issues where DataOrganizer would crash when attempting to import a Bento 2 database. • Fixed a minor display issue regarding the Table view. • Fixed an issue where adding a file to a files list would lead to a crash on Apple Silicon Macs. A crash would not occur on Intel Macs, although the bug was causing havoc behind the scenes in past versions on both platforms. (This situation actually led to the startup crash that was fixed in 2022.0.)

• Starting with the current release, DataOrganizer now uses a new versioning system based on the current year. No longer will features need to be packaged up for major versions. Features can be released as soon as they are finished. • Fixed an issue regarding cards and relationships where a back button would not be displayed in a card's form header. • Fixed another issue where DataOrganizer could crash at launch. • Items in the Recently Deleted area are automatically deleted after 30 days. This behavior has not changed. In prior versions, items that were “recently deleted” over 30 days ago were deleted at launch. Now, such deletions will occur just before DataOrganizer quits. This will not only allow for shorter app launches, but will eliminate a crash at launch should such a crash occur within the deletion process. • In prior versions, a crash could occur when attempting to add a new field to a form using the Insert menu. This has now been corrected. • Fixed some minor issues with the BayCard importer. • Some necessary internal changes regarding the loading and saving of data were made that do not support High Sierra. As such, DataOrganizer now requires macOS 10.14 Mojave or later.
