Now optimised for iPhone Duo and runs natively on Mac.
Decisioneer helps you make clearer decisions when the trade-offs are too complex for a simple pros-and-cons list.
Compare options against weighted criteria, score each candidate consistently, and see which choice rises to the top. Decisioneer is useful for comparing products, suppliers, homes, projects, investments, locations, purchases, or any decision where several factors matter at once.
Add candidates, define criteria, set weights, enter scores, and review a ranked result with the reasoning behind it. You can also add requirements, calculations, notes, source links, images, and reusable decision templates.
Decisioneer supports:
Weighted decision matrices
Candidate comparison and ranking
Rating, yes/no, numeric, date, duration, and location criteria
Requirement filters for must-have conditions
Calculated criteria such as currency conversion and payback period
Visual weighting tools
Score breakdowns and recommendation drivers
Monte Carlo simulations
Local decision files and exportable reports
Your decisions stay under your control. Decisioneer stores your work locally on your device, does not require an account, and does not include advertising or analytics tracking.

New shared document format allows multiple decisions to be open on the same device, and for the decision to be shared between devices using iCloud.
New template support: Browse and search parameter templates by subject, including people comparisons, physical measurements and camera/lens decisions. Review starting weights, optional requirements and suggested calculations before adding them.
Use scored choice lists, celestial coordinates and astronomy calculations.
CSV, TSV and Excel worksheet imports
Review data-quality warnings and proposed values
Time-dependent results using Now or Today refresh as time passes. Calculation and scoring consistency has been improved, including defaults, missing inputs and unavailable calculations.
Apple Shortcuts support added.
Use a persistent Results filter bar for parameter groups, candidate filters, display limits, minimum scores and data completeness, with a Reset action and parameter-group access from the options menu.
Explore value relationships in full-screen scatter plots. Inspect individual candidates by tapping or dragging line charts, and compare requirement-chart values grouped by compatible units and similar scales.
Convert supported website measurements into the parameter’s units. Review suggested corrections for likely measurement-scale errors before applying them.
A focus on performance and accessibility throughout the app - Improved pane navigation, toolbar overflow, comparison-grid accessibility descriptions, keyboard navigation and large-text layouts. The welcome screen uses an adaptive system background to improve contrast.
