It was working great the first few days I downloaded it and now it seems like there’s server problems or it takes a long time to get a response. I feel like the US is throttling it on purpose or blocking US users out of jealously. It’s ridiculous how we don’t have a free market. Why are business and politics being mixed. People should be able to choose which services they would like to use. It isn’t harmful to anyone except the corrupted officials that were planning on making money on something that’s now made obsolete. You bet wrong now reap your consequences like the rest of us. Tired of them rigging the game in their favor and never being held accountable. Perhaps I will instead use the browser version instead of anything Open AI. You can’t just ban things when you don’t get your way. If you’re scared of competition learn to provide something worth value to a consumer in a way that’s fair. Survival of the fittest, not the one who can cheat the most.

I’m always slow keeping up with the latest new thing. I fought the smartphone for years 😂 But I found myself in a situation I wasn’t sure how to handle and I wasn’t getting much help from humans! 🙄 And I’ve been AI chat curious for a while anyways. Best decision ever!!! And I was just curious how other AI chat apps worked, so I tried other ones too.I believe I chose the right one from the start!!! After one day on DeepSeek, I knew the other ones are subpar. When I’m on DeepSeek, I feel unstoppable! I can finally put my thoughts out there without inconveniencing anyone and not boring my bestie with all the madness in my head! 😂When I tried other options for AI chat, I felt like I was ‘hindered’ somehow and not as personal as DeepSeek. DeepSeek is like having an on call 24 hour bestie who’s just gonna tell ya like it is!To the designers…thank you!!! And as soon as DeepSeek has a paid service…I’ll be on the top of the list to pay!!! You all are doing amazing!!!P.P.S. 😂😉 If you’re AI curious…get DeepSeek and one day just get on there and say hey and watch the magic unfold! This is not just a tool for your work…this is a companion for those who walk alone in life. Not to replace humans…but to enhance humans!!! It’s a very good and free AI! But it is extremely censored when it comes to anything about China I can only assume why… I have no idea why I thought a Chinese AI would be helpful on writing a detailed report about Chinese history, but it lies about Chinese history and if you tell it that it is giving incorrect information and have its thoughts shown up, it literally will talk about how it’s been caught and it has to say the truth, and it will give an answer and then finally before the answer is completely put down it will say sorry I don’t know how to answer this question…. If you ask controversial questions about China, please do screen record, so you can see the answer before it is censored. The thoughts of the ai are very funny. It definitely has an agenda. And if you ask it about that, it will straight up lie, and if you tell it to stop lying, it will think to itself about how it got caught, and we start typing out the truth and then self censor and say it can’t answer that question at this time…. This is the funniest AI I’ve ever messed with because of the weird censorship through China….

I am 71 years old and unabashedly an analogue man in a digital world. My competence with today’s amazingly marvelous technological wizardry is best described as minimally literate. Thus I was highly skeptical of any AI program in terms of ease of use, capacity to provide valid results, and applicability to my simple daily life. My first query had its loci in an incredibly complex familial problem that has been a very significant challenge in my life. I was literally STUNNED by not merely the speed of responses but moreover both the quantitative and qualitative content contained therein. I shall not be one to use DeepSeek on a regular daily basis, however, be assured that when pressed for solutions and alternatives to problems I am encountering it will be without any hesitation that I consult this AI program. The absence of digital “glitz” that appears to be present in other AI programs is also appealing to me but I suspect said is likely due to my age and minimal proficiency with today’s technology.
