No new features, no new permissions, and no change to anything described below: recognition stays fully on-device, and the only network use is downloading a speech model or a language pack the user explicitly asks for. Fixed in this build: a crash when downloading a language pack, an occasional system termination during long dictation, and a case where the free trial could not be started on a new device. The testing steps below are unchanged. Diktator! is a keyboard with real dictation that runs entirely on your iPhone or iPad. Your voice is transcribed by a local AI model: no audio, no text, nothing is ever sent anywhere. The internet is needed once, to download the speech model you choose. HOW IT WORKS - Switch to the Diktator keyboard in any app: Notes, Mail, messengers. - Tap Listen and speak. A small floating capsule shows your microphone level. - Diktator returns you to the app you came from and types what you said. PRIVATE BY DESIGN - Recognition runs on-device with whisper-family models on the Apple GPU. - Dictated audio and text never leave your device. No accounts, no tracking, no analytics. - The technical support log never contains your dictated text. MANY LANGUAGES, ONE KEYBOARD Dictation understands close to a hundred languages — the whole set the whisper models cover. The keyboard itself types in eleven: English, Русский, Italiano, Español, Português, Français, Deutsch, 中文, 日本語, 한국어, हिन्दी. Chinese pinyin, Japanese romaji-to-kanji and Korean hangul assembly are built in; suggestion packs for other languages are optional small downloads. MADE FOR LONG DICTATION - Noise profiles (Auto / Quiet / Office / Outdoor / Car) tune silence detection to your surroundings. - A choice of speech models - from fast and small to large and precise. The exact download size is always shown first. - Segmented dictation (Pro): long speech appears in chunks as you talk. - Full-session proofread (Pro): after you finish, the whole recording is re-read for a cleaner final text.
