Every panel that slides up from the bottom is now your phone's own sheet: swiping, the dimmed background, the keyboard and the back button behave like the rest of your phone, and buttons at the bottom stay above the keyboard. A stray swipe on a gas preset or gear item with unsaved changes now asks before discarding them, the cylinder picker draws only the rows on screen, and rename prompts slide up like every other panel. The Deco Planner lists your newest plan first. Warning boxes and labels that had lost their colour have it back, dividers are grey again instead of dark blue, and Chinese and Korean text in tutorials and text fields uses the app's own typeface. The CCR Setpoints sheet puts your descent setpoint, bottom setpoint and switch depth together and reads them back as one sentence. The CCR Gases sheet shows the diluent straight under its heading. The app no longer closes by itself when you dismiss the keyboard in a sheet.

Dive Kit 2.11.4 adds your no-stop time to Gas Specs and Best Mix and fixes a long list of details, so a shared plan shows the same numbers in the app and on divekit.app. The warning and disclaimer has a clearer, updated text, so the app asks you to read and accept it once more when you open it. Tool results now show a short reference-only note. Privacy: the Analytics and crash reports switch in Settings now turns off both, and crash reports no longer include your IP address, device name or plan data. Opening a shared plan no longer sends the plan to analytics. New - Gas Specs shows the no-decompression limit (NDL) of the mix at that depth, worked out by the Deco Planner's engine with your Deco Defaults. Best Mix shows it at the MOD. - The TDI START team check joins the Checklists presets. - A lost-gas scenario now warns you when the plan still breathes the lost cylinder after the failure, and names the cylinder and the depths. Deco Planner - The app and divekit.app show identical numbers for a shared plan: run time, time to surface (TTS), CNS, OTU, gas density and gas figures, in bar and psi. - The deco table's Run column rounds up, like the stats pill. - "Fails after" keeps the cylinder available for every gas switch before the failure. - A CCR plan that ends on an open-circuit level switches to your richer cylinders on the ascent, and the PPO₂ column shows what the loop really breathes. Gas Tools - The Blend Planner explains when your gases cannot make a target mix, and gives the range they can reach, instead of a bare error. - The Gas Usage Summary warns you when a plan ends below your reserve, and its bar says how much gas is left ("29% Left"). - Best Mix and Gas Specs keep the field you are typing in above the keyboard. - No more wild MODs while you type an oxygen percentage: the figures show a dash until the mix is back in range. - Unit Converter: switching units no longer nudges the number, your cylinder volume stays what you set, and long units no longer cover the value. Fixes - The app no longer closes without warning. Since 2.11.0 it could, most often in Deco Plan after opening a plan's ⋯ menu, or when coming back to the app. - Links to the warning, terms and privacy pages open inside the app when iOS won't open your browser. - CCR bailout plans now use your water type. Before, the bailout and open-circuit gases of a CCR plan read the water pressure about 0.5 to 0.8 % low in salt and Red Sea water; re-check those plans. - Checklists: Create Checklist always opens after you add a preset, and a name typed fast keeps its letters in order. - Cylinders rated in psi show their stamped rating (AL80: 77.4 cu ft at 3000 psi). - CNS colours follow your own warning threshold, and gas density is judged the same way in every tool. - Clearer help texts and tutorials.

Dive Kit 2.11.2 puts every number on one physical model, so the app, the website and the Dive Kit AI assistant tools agree. NUMBERS FROM REAL PHYSICS - Depth and pressure start from the real 1.013 bar at sea level (less at altitude) and your water's real density, instead of 10 m per bar. MOD, EAD, END and best mix move by a few tenths of a metre; a nitrox for 30 m at 1.4 bar is now EANx34 rather than EANx35. - SAC and RMV are measured with the same real-gas model the planner uses, so a measured rate plans the same dive back to the same end pressure. RMV at high pressure drops a few percent; SAC in bar per minute does not change. - Oxygen at 6 m (1.61 bar) is no longer painted red: the plan table and calculators use the same small allowance the planner switches gases with. - A new guide page, Conventions, explains every choice with worked examples next to the classroom rules, and the tutorials now teach the formulas the app uses. NEW - Best Mix suggests how much helium clears the gas density warning at your depth. - The buoyancy calculator names any cylinder it could not find instead of quietly leaving it out. BETTER DEFAULTS - EN 13319 water (exactly 10.00 m per bar, the standard many dive computers use) and a single AL80 for new installs. Your existing settings are kept. - A new plan starts at 30 m for 15 minutes, which the default cylinder covers. - The END warning follows your Deco Defaults. FIXES - Numbers sit centred in input fields, with consistent line spacing across the app. - The buoyancy weight note shows the safety stop in your unit (3 m or 10 ft).

MEMORY USE STAYS FLAT - Fixes an issue that could make memory use grow the longer the app stayed open. UNDER THE HOOD - General optimisations for speed and stability.

Dive Kit 2.10.0 weaves your decompression into the dive plan, lets you choose which cloud keeps your automatic backup, and settles where a gas change between two dive levels happens. STOPS BEFORE YOUR OWN LEVEL - Put a level shallower than your current ceiling and the planner no longer flies you up to it. It runs that ascent properly: every stop you owe on the way, the gas changes those stops call for, and then your level, where your level's own gas takes over. - So you can put a profile point anywhere, including inside the decompression: a stop at 21 m (70 ft) to hand off a stage, a photo stop on the way up, a second descent after a shallow leg. Every obligation is kept around whatever you add. WHERE YOUR GAS CHANGES - Going deeper you switch before you descend, at the depth you are already at. The deeper level's gas is the leaner one, it is safe where you are standing, and there is no later moment at which it could safely be taken up. - Coming shallower you ascend on the gas you are already breathing and switch when you arrive. The shallower level's gas is the richer one and is only safe once you are shallow. At the same depth you switch in place. - Your gas figures follow the same rule, so the cylinder that pays for a leg is the one you are breathing on it. Your gas switch time is spent where the switch happens, on the gas you are leaving. WHERE YOU LEAVE THE LOOP - A rebreather plan can now leave the loop at a run time, at the end of any level, or at a depth on the ascent, as well as at the end of your profile. Add a view from the row above the stop table and a line tells you where the bail lands before you add it. - Leaving the loop puts you on the richest mix you carry that is safe at that depth, so the order your cylinders are listed in no longer changes a bailout. The End of profile view now also lists the stops you flew before you left the loop. CHOOSE YOUR BACKUP CLOUD - Automatic backup can now keep its copy in iCloud or in Google Drive, one per device, picked on the Backup screen. - In Google Drive the backup lands in a folder named Dive Kit that you can open like any other. Restoring it onto a new device is one button. - If the cloud already holds a backup this device never wrote, Dive Kit asks whether to restore it or replace it before saving over anything. Dive Kit sees only the files it created there, and never receives a copy itself. CHECKLISTS - The FX CCR presets are rebuilt from the Sub-Gravity FX-CCR Functionality Checklist. Two presets replace the ones taken from the user manual: the functionality check when you build the unit, and the pre-dive checks at the water. Copies you already made stay as they are. FIXES - The free gas line under a cylinder size is tappable and explains why it reads below volume times pressure. A 14 L twin set at 220 bar holds about 5860 litres, not 6160, because air packs about 5% tighter at that pressure than the simple rule assumes. - Turning on automatic backup to Google Drive works right after you sign in. Dive Kit was asking Google to refresh the sign-in a moment too early and treating that as signed out, so the switch stayed off even though the sign-in had worked. - Automatic backup tells you what it is doing: backing up, waiting, failed with the reason, or paused. A Back up now button writes one on the spot, and two devices on one cloud account no longer save over each other. - A gas change at your last stop happens when you arrive, not a minute later. With rounded stop times, switching to oxygen at a 6 m (20 ft) last stop made you wait a minute on the old gas first. - An oxygen break you cannot take now warns you instead of vanishing silently, and a break your back gas cannot serve moves to the leanest safe mix you carry, not the richest. The bottom time finder answers for your deepest level, and on a dive with more than one level you can point it at another.

Dive Kit 2.9.0 adds plan modifiers, no-stop times, a water temperature behind every density reading, five gas reserve rules with turn pressure, and backup and restore. PLAN MODIFIERS - A Modifiers row under the scenario tabs holds Working SRMV, Deco SRMV, a Stress SRMV burst over a duration you choose, and a delay before the ascent. - Set them for the whole plan or for one contingency. On a contingency, a row left on Plan prints what the plan is worth under its label. - The delay is real time at depth: it loads tissue, accrues CNS and OTU, and moves your stops. The stress burst re-prices gas without touching the schedule. NO-STOP TIME ON EVERY LEVEL - A dive level can carry an NDL tag with the no-stop minutes left there, computed at your plan's GF-high, so it reads shorter than an agency table. WATER TEMPERATURE - Gas density is now computed at a water temperature you set: per plan, in your Deco Planner defaults, or globally in Settings. The default is 15 °C, the same reference the rest of the app's gas figures use. Density readings drop about 5% against 2.8.7, and no stop times move. RESERVES AND TURN PRESSURE - Five reserve rules: Thirds, Fourths, Fifths, Sixths and Fixed, where Fixed keeps a pressure you type. - Gas Usage prints your turn pressure beside your reserve target, in your own pressure unit. - One cylinder can carry its own reserve target, under Advanced in the gas sheet. - A CCR plan that cannot cover its worst-case bailout now warns you on every view, not only on the one you thought to open. WHEN A CYLINDER RUNS OUT - A new setting decides what an empty cylinder does to the plan: stay on it and show the shortfall, which is the default and what earlier versions did, or switch to the richest gas you still carry that is safe at that depth. A switch is marked in the table, and a warning names both gases and the pressure that would have finished the deco on the first one. CONTINGENCIES - A lost-gas scenario can say when the gas is lost: from the start, or at a level you pick. - Give a scenario your own name and it replaces the derived label on the tab and in exports. BOTTOM TIME FINDER - A timer icon in the Gas Consumption header finds the longest bottom time your plan still supports, limited by your gas reserve or by a time-to-surface budget. One tap applies it. TWO-UP SLATE - Tick "Compare two scenarios" in the slate export and the card prints two schedules side by side on A5. BACKUP AND RESTORE - Settings > Backup writes everything on this device into one file and hands it to the share sheet. Restore reads it back after a confirmation, and rolls back if a step fails. - On iPhone and iPad, automatic iCloud backup keeps one copy current in your own iCloud Drive. It stays off until you switch it on. BREATHING RATE PER CYLINDER - SRMV/SAC now records the cylinder each measurement was taken on, so a twinset plus a stage goes in as two measurements that both count toward one rate. ALSO - CCR bailout gas is charged in two phases: the leg from the bail point to your first deco stop is work, so it runs at your Working SRMV. Most bailout figures go up, so re-check any bailout you sized in an older version. - A CCR diluent cylinder with a BOV or a regulator on it can be marked "Breathable open circuit", so bailout plans breathe it open circuit and one cylinder carries both the loop gas and the open-circuit gas. - Professional certifications for PADI, IANTD and GUE. - Settings > Submit Feedback opens the Dive Kit feedback board. FIXES - Blend Planner no longer plans a bleed it does not need in psi, and partial-pressure fills in psi no longer dump good gas or fail outright. - Gas presets can be added again after the editor sheet closes itself. - The dead "+" for diluent switches on CCR Defaults now says where those switches really live. - Every tool can be dragged anywhere in the Tools grid, the Deco Planner included. - "Stop time display" is now "Stop time rounding", with 1 s, 30 s and 1 min options.

This release focuses on planner accuracy and clarity, driven by feedback from technical divers. Deco Planner - Auto gas now looks ahead on the descent: a shallow first level will never pick one of your deco gases on the way down, and your lost-gas contingencies stay complete. - The dive table shows gas switches at the exact depth you make them. - Settings are organized in two tiers: the three sections you use while planning up front, everything else in a collapsed Advanced group that highlights when a plan overrides your defaults. - Simple setpoint view for CCR rigs that run one setpoint plus deco. The full stepped schedule is one tap away. - "Reset all" now reliably resets every overridden setting. Gas tools - Safety alerts lead with what is wrong ("Gas density too high") instead of a generic "Error" heading. - The ambient and fill temperature fields line up properly in the Gas Blender and Mix Result. Buoyancy - New DSMB preset and a lighter spool preset. Plus many smaller fixes and refinements throughout.

A precision pass on the gas math, a fresh look, and a new language. Your tank, by the spec sheet Imperial cylinder capacities now use the exact convention US manufacturers print: real gas at 1 atmosphere and 70 °F. An AL80 reads 77.4 ft³, matching Luxfer's published figure, and the capacity field now accepts decimals, so you can type the spec-sheet number and get exactly that tank. Sharper gas math - Plans at altitude now compute gas use from the real surface pressure (it was anchored at sea level, overstating stop gas at altitude). - CCR: staged descents now charge the loop the correct diluent. Deeper legs were under-counted before. - Shared plans carry exact cylinder sizes, so the recipient sees precisely the plan you sent. - Buoyancy gas weights and the SAC readout were refined. A new look The bottom tab bar is now a compact floating glass pill that picks up each tool's color as you move around the app, and the deco planner's stats bar floats just above it. Content scrolls beneath both through frosted glass. Now in Simplified Chinese The entire app: every tool, tutorial, checklist, and dive signal. Deco stop schedules are unchanged by this update.

Enter cylinders the way you name them. Every cylinder field now speaks your sizing language. Imperial divers enter capacity and working pressure, so an AL80 is simply 80 ft³ at 3000 psi, and Dive Kit derives the water volume through its real-gas model. Metric entry stays water volume in liters. A hint under the fields always shows the computed counterpart, and both pressure fields carry a (?) explaining the difference between a tank's rating and today's fill. This fixes a bug where typing "80" into the old water-volume field silently created a 99-liter cylinder, so the plan reported impossible numbers like 668 ft³ remaining. Simpler CCR bailout planning. The separate bailout SAC settings are gone. Bailout consumption now follows your Deco SRMV, and bailout schedules always run your plan's gradient factors, so one set of settings drives the dive and its escape. Bailout warnings now also honor your custom CNS, OTU, and gas density thresholds. Note: bailout gas figures change with this release — use the ascent/deco SRMV selector to size bailout for a stressed exit. Redesigned gas consumption cards. Each cylinder card now reads at a glance: the gas and its Used figure on top, the bar, and a labeled Remaining line in the warning color below. Volumes are larger and dot-separated from pressure, so divers who think in cubic feet are no longer squinting. One (?) on the section title explains every figure, including how CCR loop cylinders are estimated. Shared plans carry your cylinder ratings. A shared imperial plan now shows the recipient the same "80 ft³ at 3000 psi" you entered. A cleaner, more trustworthy deco planner. On the deco graph and shared web preview, the dive line could be drawn a meter or two shallower than the decompression ceiling during the ascent, so a correct plan looked like it was breaching its own limit. The schedule and ceiling were always right; the graph now lines up with them, and the table's Run column now matches the standard ZH-L16C run times at each stop. Stop and Run columns also follow one rule across a plan, so a table never mixes 25' and 25'06" row to row, and the text and PNG slates auto-size their columns so seconds-bearing and CCR exports stay neatly aligned. Dive safe.

NEW TOOLS - Decant mode in Mix Result and Blend Planner. Top a cylinder off from another with just a transfill whip, no bank or compressor. Mix Result gives the mix and pressure each cylinder settles at; Blend Planner gives the pressure to fill the receiver to, and shows the reachable mix range when your target is out of reach. - Three new checklist presets: a recreational Predive safety check (BWRAF), an Open-circuit tech predive, and a Tech dive plan review. Vendor-neutral, in dual units. - Help where you need it. Every tool card now has a (?) button explaining what the tool does and when to use it, and the input sections in Mix Result and Blend Planner explain what each part is for. MORE ACCURATE GAS MATH - Cylinders now show the gas they really deliver. Dive Kit moved from the ideal gas law to a real-gas (compressibility) model built from NIST reference data for oxygen, nitrogen, and helium. A high-pressure cylinder holds a little less than the simple pressure-times-volume rule claims, so an "AL80" now reads about 79 cu ft. Each cylinder also carries its true water volume. - Gas mixing and blending use the same real-gas model. For nitrox the difference is tiny, but for trimix it matters: helium is the least ideal gas, and an oxygen analyzer cannot catch a helium error. Always analyze your blended cylinder and set its measured oxygen before diving. DECO PLANNER - Clearer diluent labels on CCR dilout plans, with a short legend explaining the notation. - New CCR plans default to 3 L cylinders at 232 bar. - Plans now always reopen on the base schedule, so the view chips and the table never disagree. - Fixed a ceiling band that could draw deeper than the dive profile near the end of a dive (the stop schedule was always correct; only the drawn band was off). CLEANER SCREENS - Plan home cards show just the icon and title, with the (?) for the full explanation. Checklists: a new free tool Build and run your own dive checklists, from a rebreather build to a pre-dive or team check to post-dive care. Steps can carry a countdown or stopwatch (timers keep running even if you close the app) and a notes field for values like cell mV. A countdown alerts you the moment it finishes and opens the step. Start from six presets (JJ-CCR, GUE CHAOS, GUE EDGE, post-dive) or a blank list. Number entry Typing a comma decimal like 1,3 now works on every keypad. A new decimal separator setting shows numbers as 1.3, 1,3, or follows your device. CCR decompression The diluent model is reworked to match how real rigs are carried: below a depth you choose, switch to breathing a bailout through the loop (a dilout), with honest per-cylinder gas accounting. A niche technical-CCR feature. Fixes Number fields no longer get stuck rejecting input, editing a gas or dive level no longer leaves a duplicate row, and the cylinder database gained the EU 232 bar CCR bottles and the Faber 12L.

Two new Deco Planner tools — custom contingency scenarios and a quick deco gas SRMV switcher — plus a cleaner CCR workflow, printable slates, and refinements across the app. DECO PLANNER — NEW - Custom contingency scenarios. Build your own "what-if" right on the plan: pick any gases to lose (including back gas), choose a dive level, and nudge its depth and/or time. Each becomes its own tab next to Base, re-planned by the engine and saved with your plan — replacing the old fixed "lost all deco gas" with exactly the loss combination you care about. - Ascent/deco RMV lens. Recompute gas usage at a higher breathing rate without changing your schedule. Add as many custom rates as you like alongside the planned rate and tap to compare; the rate applies to the ascent and deco stops only, so your stops and runtime never move. DECO PLANNER — WORKFLOW - Drag to reorder. Long-press any dive level or gas row and drag it into place. Reordering levels triggers a fresh schedule; reordering gases is purely visual. - Live edit preview. New rows appear instantly behind the Add/Edit sheet and update as you type; the stops table and graph stay frozen until you close the sheet — no flicker, no waiting. - Customisable CCR defaults. Set your own setpoints, switch depth, and O2 / diluent cylinder seeds in Edit Defaults, used the first time you enable CCR on a fresh plan. - Your CCR edits stick. Disabling and re-enabling CCR restores your last rig setup instead of wiping it. - Air breaks on the loop. New opt-in toggle to apply oxygen breaks while breathing the CCR loop (off by default). - Lower default CCR setpoints — new rigs seed at 0.7 / 1.0 / 1.2 (Descent / Bottom / Deco). - Diluent remaining now shows on CCR loop rows instead of being blank. - "Add Gas" defaults to a single tank; the bottom gas still defaults to a twinset. - Configurable Minimum PPO2 warning floor (0.16–0.21 bar) for catching hypoxic mixes. SHARING & SLATES - Printable A6 slates. PNG and PDF exports now target A6 (105 x 148 mm) — a standard size you can print, trim, and laminate. Long plans paginate cleanly with the column header repeated on every page. - Reorganised slate layout adds "Turn Time" (the runtime at which you hit ascent pressure) and always shows OTU + CNS. - Share up to 16 cylinders. The share/QR link cap rose from 8 to 16, so dense tech rigs share without dropping the tail. - Plan cards now show the least rich gas (lowest O2%) in XX/YY notation — the gas that defines the dive's depth. ACROSS THE APP - Gas mode setting removed. The hidden rec / tec / trimix toggle is gone — every calculator exposes the full range out of the box. - RMV is now "SRMV" (Surface RMV) everywhere. Same number, clearer label, unified across all languages. - "Loop Config" renamed to "CCR"; "Water Type" relabelled to "Water Density" where it controls density. - Onboarding asks which planner you used before Dive Kit — migrating from Multideco or Baltic matches the time semantics you're used to. - Update prompts now show a "What's New" summary, and Submit Feedback opens a quick form. FIXES - Lost-gas contingencies could remove and mislabel the wrong cylinder — now fixed. - The ICD (isobaric counter-diffusion) check now uses the correct 1:5 Rule of Fifths, so helium step-downs no longer false-alarm. - END warning no longer fires on rounding noise (an END of 30.4 m against a 30 m limit when both display as 30). - Certifications: tapping a card opens the carousel focused on that card on iOS. - Bailout "Add Depth" input is readable in dark mode; section info sheets clear the home-bar gesture area. UNDER THE HOOD Upgraded for faster startup and lower memory use. Now requires iOS 16 or later.

The Deco Planner has been redesigned. - Streamlined editing flow and a cleaner UI — easier to navigate from profile to gases to results. - Define your dive profile first; the app now auto-links the right gas to each level. - New sticky stats bar at the bottom keeps TTS, deco time, CNS and gas usage visible at all times. - Explanations, tooltips and hints added throughout the planner. - Add a 0-minute stop to your profile to mark a gas switch. - Gas switch time now applies to profile gas changes, not just the deco phase. - More descriptive warning messages. - Various bug fixes and edge-case improvements in the deco engine. - Visual polish throughout.

New • Deco Planner: "Include travel in level time" toggle — each segment's time now covers its travel (matching MultiDeco), available per-plan or as a default. • Deco Planner: O2 as Narcotic, and the new travel toggle are now grouped under a "Behaviour" section. • Profile: Insurance expiration indicator — amber dot within 30 days, red dot once expired. Improved • Deco stop-size options are now {3 m, 6 m, 9 m} — all on the natural Bühlmann grid. • Deco stops are ceiling-rounded to whole minutes — you'll always hang at least as long as the engine planned, never less. • Deco table preserves half-meter precision (e.g. 4.5 m stops display as "4.5m"). • Minimum deco stop time is now set in whole minutes (1–5) instead of seconds. • Cleaned up the Settings top-level screen — removed the redundant back arrow. Fixed • Profile photo no longer disappears after saving on iOS. • Header titles and hand-signal names now follow your in-app language change without needing a restart. • Gas Blender cylinder switcher no longer shows white text on a white background. • Same white-on-white fix applied to toggle groups in Gas Blender, Gas Planner, RMV/SAC, Unit Converter, and plan/gear pickers. • Certification cards: tapping a card in the list now opens that card (was opening the first card on iOS). • Deco table no longer shows fractional minutes in the bottom row. Deco engine (safety) Redesigned stop-depth logic so your configured last stop (e.g. 3 m) is always honored — even when using wider step sizes (6 m or 9 m) or switching to 100% O2 at 6 m. Previously some combinations could silently skip the last stop or switch gas at the surface. Verified against all MultiDeco cross-validation scenarios.
