The Dutchess HELPLINE app is created for Dutchess County residents struggling with addictions and related issues. Call or text the Dutchess HELPLINE number to get immediate counseling assistance and support on a 24/7 basis. Struggling individuals and their family members can better understand the signs of risk behaviors and find important resources that will help them to make informed decisions. Create your own Safety Plan, with actionable steps for harm reduction. Suicide awareness and prevention are a main focus of the app, as well as finding peace and calm in the midst of stressful and anxious situations. Information on Narcan and training on its use in emergency interventions is included. In the case of an emergency, call 911.
