Works with YouTube in Safari. Easy AACcess allows AAC and switch users to access YouTube more independently through scanning, simple buttons, and other features.
WHAT IT DOES
• Big buttons for play, pause, next video, back, louder, softer, captions, and full screen
• Switch scanning: the highlight moves from button to button on its own. Press Space, Enter, or tap to choose
• Spoken feedback: buttons, letters and video titles are read aloud
• A large search keyboard (QWERTY or ABC) with word suggestions
• A calmer page: comments, Shorts, recommendations and autoplay are hidden
• NEXT plays the next video from the user's own search, not from suggestions
FOR CAREGIVERS
Adjust scan speed, spoken scanning, board size and layout, and the keyboard from the extension's settings. Changes apply straight away.
PRIVACY
No account, no ads, no tracking. Settings stay on the device.
HOW TO START
Open the app and follow the steps to turn on the extension in Safari, then open youtube.com.
