eBookDrop puts your EPUB library on your Kindle. Drag the books onto the window, choose how they should travel, press one button.
Kindles do not read EPUB from their own storage, so eBookDrop rewrites each book as AZW3 first — with its own converter, built into the app. No Calibre, no command line, no plug-ins, nothing else to install.
THREE WAYS TO SEND
Over USB. Copy the books straight into the Kindle's documents folder. The fastest route, and the only one that can see what is already on the device: books you already have are flagged before you send, and you choose whether to skip them, replace them, or keep both. eBookDrop installs the cover art the firmware will not generate on its own, and ejects when it finishes so the Kindle rebuilds its library.
Over Wi-Fi. No cable and no account. eBookDrop serves the books from your Mac and shows an address and a QR code; you open it in the Kindle's browser and download. Nothing leaves your own network — no cloud, no third party, no upload. An interrupted download resumes where it stopped.
By email. Amazon's Send to Kindle, from inside the app. Set your mail account up once — the common providers are preconfigured, and the password goes to your login keychain rather than the app's settings — and books go out from anywhere you have an internet connection. A Test Connection button signs in and hangs up, so a wrong password turns up during setup instead of halfway through a queue.
SEE WHAT IS ON THE DEVICE
With the Kindle connected, browse everything in its documents folder with covers and authors, copy books back to the Mac, or delete the ones you have finished with.
IT EXPLAINS ITSELF
Nothing is ever dropped in silence. A file that cannot be sent stays in the list with the reason in plain words — a download that never finished, a cloud file whose bytes are not on this Mac, an Adobe .acsm ticket that is not the book itself. Every refusal says what to do next, and a built-in help window walks through all three routes, including how to create an app password for Gmail.
