I am very grateful that this program exists.
This mindmap is the software that I dreamed about while using other mindmap software.
The save issue is still a growing pain. However, this Co has solved so many other problems as compared to shortcomings of other vendors - they have proven they are exceptionally talented and intuitive - i have faith that the current save feature is a trade off or a limitation for user benefit.
Piece of junk!!! Beware if you don't want to lose hours of your work!
The authors of the software still live in 90s as they require to manually save your work every time. If you work on more or less serious mind map, that requires to spend significant amount of time, I guarantee you will lose your work by not clicking save button every time you switch to something else. The support is completely useless and the best they will tell is that it is your fault, as you, who would guess, must click the save button. Please save your time and your mental health from a lot of frustration when you open the app next time only to see the old version of the document. Better go with more expensive mindmanager or any other product and don't waste your time and money (which they refus to return after 30 days) on this JUNK! I spend around $150 on the perpetual license and will never get back to this piece of crap again.

EdrawMind also supports the autosave feature. However, the auto-save only works with good network conditions. In case you use EdrawMind offline, we will suggest that you may manually save your file.
A good option
There are many mind mapping options, and this one is a good one. It is robust, well designed, has its own cloud service, and works well with macOS as well as iOS. I purchased the whole package with Edraw and the two programs work well together.
