Finolio 1.9 — Your money, a step ahead Finolio now does more than track your spending — it helps you plan it. • Safe to Spend Today — Your Dashboard now leads with one number: what's actually free to spend today, after the bills and goal money already spoken for before your next paycheck. • Net Worth — Add your accounts, cards, and assets to see your full net worth and how it's trending. Entered by you, stored privately in iCloud — never pulled from a third party. • Daily Money Brief — An on-device digest surfaces the one thing worth knowing — an overspend forming, a bill due, a forgotten subscription — with a gentle once-a-day nudge. • What-If Planner — Simulate cutting a category, canceling subscriptions, or taking on a new payment, and instantly see the monthly impact and how much sooner you'd reach a savings goal. • Plain-English Automations — Type a rule like "file Costco as Groceries" or "alert me if I spend over $50 on coffee this week," and Finolio applies it for you — parsed entirely on-device. • Price Tracker — Finolio reads your receipts down to the item, so you can see exactly which things are getting pricier over time. • Spending Calendar & private benchmarks — A month heatmap shows where your money goes day to day, and an on-device comparison shows how you stack up against typical households. As always, everything runs on your device. Your data stays yours.

See overspending before it happens. The Dashboard now warns you when you're on pace to finish the month over budget. Tap any slice of your category chart to drill into those purchases, and export any date range to CSV. The Recurring tab spots subscriptions hiding in your spending so you can track — or cancel — them, imported charges file themselves into smarter categories, and statement imports now tell you exactly what came in. Plus added security on email-forwarded charges and a sturdier, crash-resistant foundation.

This update makes the new Email Forwarding import reliable for everyone, and adds support for more banks.

Logging your charges just got easier. • Email Forwarding: Finolio gives you a private inbox address — point any bank's transaction alerts at it and your charges import automatically, in seconds. No Google sign-in, no setup on your computer. • Works with the major U.S. banks and card issuers — Chase, Bank of America, Wells Fargo, Citi, Capital One, American Express, Discover, and more — plus popular fintechs, with sharper merchant detection. • Clear about privacy: Email Forwarding is the one feature that isn't fully on-device. Alerts pass through Finolio's relay, which reads only the amount, merchant, date, and card, then discards the email. It's off by default and asks you to confirm before turning on. • Prefer that nothing leaves your phone? The read-only Gmail option still parses alerts entirely on-device. • A notification confirms each charge as it's logged, and smart dedupe keeps it from doubling up with Apple Card, Apple Pay taps, or your other sources.

Your charges, logged for you. • Apple Card syncs itself — connect once and every charge (taps, online orders, subscriptions) flows in automatically from Wallet. No third-party services touch your data. • Tap to pay, logged instantly — a new Shortcuts automation logs any Apple Pay tap, on any card, before you've put your phone away. • Bank alerts become expenses — turn on your bank's transaction emails and Finolio reads just those alerts from your own Gmail, parsed on-device, read-only. • Backfill months of history — import any bank's CSV statement and Finolio detects the columns automatically. Re-importing the same file never creates duplicates. • One charge, logged once — a smart dedupe engine recognizes the same purchase arriving from a tap, an email, and a card sync, and keeps exactly one copy. • Per-card payment methods — auto-imported charges are filed under the actual card, so spending breakdowns by card finally tell the whole story. Ten little things that add up. • Undo delete. Tap Undo on the banner and the expense comes back — receipt, tags, notes, everything. • Repeat your last expense. Long-press the + button to log a copy of the most recent one at today's date. • Drafts that survive. Back out of Add Expense mid-form and your typed fields are waiting for you next time. • Bulk select in Expenses. Long-press a row to enter selection mode, then delete or recategorize in one go. • Search inside Settings. A search bar at the top jumps you straight to the right panel. • Sync status chip. A small "Synced X ago" pill on the Dashboard. Tap to nudge a refresh. • Why this category? An info dot in the Add Expense form explains which rule picked the suggestion — and offers a one-tap "always use this for this merchant." • Today vs. yesterday on the Dashboard.
