Focusoro is a next-gen Pomodoro timer. An ordinary timer counts minutes and trusts you to hold out. This one keeps the phone on the desk and records every impulse you resist — so it ends up knowing more about your focus than you do.
HOW IT WORKS
Set the session length on the dial, down to the minute, and put the phone down. Right under the dial you see what time you'll finish. Once the phone lies still, the countdown starts on its own — you don't even touch the screen. The display dims so it stops tempting you.
Reach for it mid-session? The screen lights up and the phone vibrates, reminding you to get back to work. You get a few seconds to put it down again — how many is up to you in Settings. Leaving the app fails the session, no free passes.
An incoming call or a clock alarm doesn't ruin anything: the session is paused and resumes once you come back and put the phone down.
BREAKS WITHOUT GUILT
After a finished session, the break is yours in full. Do whatever you like, even outside the app — we'll remind you when it's time to come back. The countdown shows on the Lock Screen and in the Dynamic Island, so you never have to check how much is left.
STATS THAT CHANGE SOMETHING
Focusoro doesn't just count minutes. It shows your self-control index, how many times per hour of focus you reach for the phone, and how fast you put it back down after the alarm. A histogram reveals the minute at which your attention usually starts to slip.
Add to that three breakdowns from the last 30 days: what exactly ends your sessions, whether you do better with the phone face down, and which session lengths you actually finish.
A separate chart tracks, week by week, how long the sessions you finish have become — with the suggested length marked, so you can see at a glance whether you are growing.
A SESSION LENGTH THAT FITS YOU
After a week of use, the app suggests a session length worked out from your own history — not from someone else's theory. It weighs not only how often you finish, but how many minutes of focus you truly deliver, and it treats short lucky streaks with suspicion. The suggestion sits above the dial as "Your time" — one tap sets it.
DAILY GOAL AND RHYTHM
Set a daily focus goal and the ring around the Start button fills as you work. Close it and you get fireworks. The app also tracks your cycle of sessions and breaks, so before you start you know which session of the cycle this is and how long the break after it will be.
APPLE WATCH
On your wrist you see the session and break countdown and the number of impulses you resisted — and, if you reach for the phone, the seconds left to put it back down. The phone stays on the desk.
IPHONE AND IPAD
Focusoro runs on iPhone and iPad — on iPad also in landscape and in a window of any size.
PRIVACY
All your data stays on your device. Nothing is sent to a server, there are no accounts, no ads and no tracking.
PRICING
The yearly subscription starts with seven days free — you are charged only after that, and you can cancel anytime in your Apple account settings. Prefer to pay once? There is a lifetime purchase that never renews.
The app speaks English, Polish, German and Japanese.
Detecting when you pick up the phone requires access to motion data.

A fresh look and a smoother start.
• Set the session length on the dial down to the minute — near a full five minutes the dial snaps to it.
• Under the dial you see what time you'll finish; above it, "Your time": a length worked out from your own history, set with one tap.
• The bottom of the start screen now holds the time presets and shows which session of the cycle this is and how long the break after it will be.
• All session screens share one style, and the circle sits in the same spot on every one of them, so nothing jumps when the phase changes.
• On the alert screen, a ring around the phone icon counts down the seconds left to put it back down.
• Apple Watch now looks like the phone app and counts down those seconds too.
• A new icon and polished wording in every language.
