Ticketing updates: • Free tickets are now free: no fees and no card needed • Sellers: revenue in Sales Analytics now counts fees and refunds • Sellers: a cancelled ticket no longer shows as valid on an order • Sellers: the Advanced Reports button is hidden until it works properly • Bug fixes and stability improvements

Skelly prompt fixes: • Prompts you save now show up under My Prompts • "View" after saving a prompt opens My Prompts • If prompts can't load, the app says so instead of showing an empty list • Bug fixes and stability improvements

Halloween is here, and so is 5.3! • Pro's Halloween deal shows on the upgrade screen before you buy • Tickets in the app match the website • Owners: tell visitors you're open this year with one tap • FrightLink: props can now go off when visitors check in, share, follow, save or comment on your haunt, walk up to it, or when you hit a milestone • Messaging an owner works right after you sign in • Bluetooth permission is asked only when you use it • Bug fixes and speed-ups

Bug fixes: likes, follows and check-ins now always save correctly, so a haunt's pumpkin count can no longer drop when someone likes it from a screen they opened earlier. Thanks for sharing your haunts this Halloween!

Bug fixes for Halloween: • Searching contests no longer crashes • Voting no longer crashes after your vote is counted • Uploading a listing video no longer crashes as it starts • Tapping a Haunt Radar alert opens the haunt • The location picker keeps the address you type • Closing Sign in with Apple no longer shows an error

A big Halloween tune-up, from a top-to-bottom check of the app. • Tickets: buying tickets in the app works again for haunts that sell through FrightMaps, the date picker offers the nights a haunt is actually open, and events stay on the haunt's card through their final night. • Videos: Vimeo links on a listing now play, and links the app can't play open in your browser instead of showing an error. • Search: "Search all states" now takes seconds instead of a minute, and haunts with an apostrophe in their name are easier to find. • Contests: the entry list no longer reshuffles every time someone votes, the vote confirmation names the house you're voting for, and contest banners open the contest right in the app. • Adding your haunt: the five free photo slots no longer look locked, the form tells you exactly which field needs fixing, it asks before throwing away a half-finished listing, and new listings no longer default to "open 24/7". • Commenting before you're signed in no longer freezes the app. • Haunt clubs: leaving a club now takes the club icon off your pin. • Haunt Radar asks for notification permission, so its alerts can reach you. • Pro: each upgrade screen says what you're unlocking, with Terms of Use and Privacy Policy links. • Better VoiceOver labels on map buttons and haunt cards. • FrightLink: after pairing, the app shows each device's real light color, and the Apple Watch button only appears when a watch is paired. • Requires iOS 15 or later. • Bug fixes and performance improvements.

Getting your haunt ready for Halloween is easier in this update. • Photos: when a listing reaches its photo limit, the editor now says so (and how many Pro allows) instead of the Add Photos button disappearing. • Hours and social links: those buttons now say "Done", and the hours sheet reminds you to tap Update House so your changes are saved. • Fixed hard-to-read text in some input fields, including the haunt club picker on Edit a House. • The Skelly controller's Haunted Duo plans now show the current store price in your currency. • FrightLink: a hub with no passcode can now be factory reset. • FrightLink: a stray space in your Wi-Fi name or password no longer stops a hub from connecting, and the Wi-Fi status shows correctly right after a hub update. • Haunted Hill Farm is our 2026 presenting sponsor. • Bug fixes and performance improvements.

New: Skelly Calls! A Halloween character phones your family and talks with your kids by name. Pick Skelly, the Graveyard Keeper, the Wicked Witch or the Ghost Pirate Captain, or Krampus and Santa for the holidays. • Skelly Studio: new "Monsters" character voices (a demon, a pirate captain, a banshee and more), a more natural Skelly voice, and hands-free conversations. • Haunt cards now show when the owner last updated the listing. Haunts that are ready for this season show "Updated for 2026". • Create or edit a house: "Write my title & description" drafts three versions of your listing text for you to pick from. • Haunt of the Year winners now show their award badge on the haunt card. • List view: announcements no longer cover the first haunt. • FrightLink: plain-language error messages, clearer warnings when a trigger isn't confirmed, and better handling when a hub's storage is full.

New: FrightMaps Pro now comes as a yearly plan. One payment covers the whole year and costs less than paying monthly. • Video uploads now tell you up front that clips can be up to 30 seconds, and no longer look frozen while your video is prepared. • Changing only a listing's video now lets you save it. • Contacting support: your message box now starts where you type, so your description reaches us.

Fixes from what haunters emailed in this month. • Icon packs: icons you've bought are now selectable even if you don't own the whole pack. Owning part of a pack used to lock all of it. • Icon labels no longer overlap if you use larger text sizes. • Saving your listing puts it back on the map. A haunt switched off last season no longer stays hidden after you re-save it. • Your haunt card now says what each button does — QR code for signs, transfer, hide and delete moved into a labelled menu instead of unlabelled icons. • Fixed input fields that showed white text on a white background. • Fixed a profile that could fail to load at launch. • Sharing a haunt still works when our link service is down. • Skelly Studio: Lethal Lily now shows up in the device list, and uploads are steadier. • FrightLink: diagnostics stay responsive while logs download.

What's New in 5.2 FrightLink setup is more reliable. Hub firmware updates now check the Hub's live Wi-Fi connection, authenticate immediately before the update, and show the Hub's real response instead of failing with a misleading Wi-Fi warning. Production firmware is the default. Beta firmware is now opt-in only, so existing accounts stay on the stable track unless beta access is deliberately enabled. Scenes and sensors hold up better in the yard. Test Trigger runs the entire scene, large sensor configurations transfer safely, disconnected Hubs reconnect more reliably, and cloud fallback keeps remote controls available beyond Bluetooth range. Haunt owners can now set specific operating dates, and this release includes fixes for sensor removal and renaming, route access, house submissions, and general reliability.

What's New in 5.1 Set off your props from your wrist. The new Apple Watch app fires any FrightLink prop or Executioner without taking your phone out — and it works from anywhere you have a signal, not just from across the yard. Run your light show from your phone. FrightMaps now finds xLights and Falcon Player controllers on your Wi-Fi and starts, stops and switches shows — no laptop in the yard. Skelly can perform, not just talk. Expressive voice lets him whisper, sigh and laugh, and he decides where those belong. You choose which effects he's allowed to use, so nothing turns up you didn't ask for. Pick the language he answers in. Twelve languages, including German, Spanish, French and Japanese — no extra cost on any plan. Lethal Lily is supported. She's found automatically and gets her own controls for her wrist, elbow, head, eyes and lantern. The Skelly screen makes sense now. Everything he says is in one place, everything he does is in another, and Live Mode finally explains that pairing your phone to Skelly over Bluetooth is what makes his jaw move. Ask Alexa what's near you. "Alexa, what haunted houses are near me?" now answers without needing the app's name every time, and the results on screen are worth looking at. Fixes: firing a prop from out of Bluetooth range did nothing, silently — now it goes over the internet instead. Audio uploads to Ultra Skelly v2 failed before the first chunk was written, and now they don't. Uploads also show real progress and warn you not to leave. One controller found on several addresses is listed once, not three times, and searching no longer comes up empty when the local-network prompt appears.

What's New in 5.0.5 Alexa is here. Control your FrightLink props with your voice — "Alexa, turn on Prop 2." Linking takes one tap in the app, no password required. A lighter app. FrightMaps is about 35 MB smaller to download. A better notification center with read/unread, cleaner grouping, and taps that take you where they say. For haunt owners: reach nearby fans right from your house card. Fixes: crashes when saving a haunt after removing photos, a crash on several screens, and smoother handling of picking photos and signing up with an email that already has an account.

What's New in 5.0.4 Built for iPad. The map is finally full-screen on tablets — the haunt list now floats over the map and tucks away, instead of walling off half your screen. FrightLink Fire Groups. Group any mix of hub ports and Executioners — "Graveyard," "Porch," whatever you run — then point a motion sensor at the whole group or fire it from the remote with one tap. Hub names now sync across all your devices, and sensors honestly say "Connecting" instead of a false "Offline" while they check in. Clubs keep growing. Build Journals let members share their prop builds in progress, and the new Resource Library collects your club's tutorials and links — plus a cleaner clubs directory and club pages that never leave the app. Contests, organized. Big contests can now have categories — Best Fog, Judges' Choice, Public Vote — each with its own entries, voting, and winner. Fixes & polish. AI Skelly conversations are back for everyone, a crash when leaving mid-video-upload is gone, ticket scanning got more reliable for gate crews, and a pile of under-the-hood hardening keeps everything steadier.
