Simplified Sign-Up Flow Joining the fypes family now feels easier and warmer than ever before. Fype Connection Issue Resolved When your friend accepts your fype request, the failure rate to connect is now measured at 0%. We went deep on this one. The animations, transitions, and overall experience during a fype are visibly faster and smoother compared to the previous version. Fyping just looks better now. Also, when you come back to fypes after being away, you can now see who wanted to fype with you while you were gone — we call these Missed Fypes. We've been working late nights to make fypes faster, smoother, and more alive — and this update is the result. Here's what changed: Your fype frame now draws itself when a call starts — a snake-like animation traces the border before it settles into a soft glow. Small thing, big feel. While you're waiting for your friend to connect, the empty space now pulses instead of just sitting there. It felt cold before. Now it feels like something's about to happen. We fixed a sneaky bug where accepting a fype from a push notification too quickly would leave the other person hanging. Tapping fast is a feature, not a bug — and now it works like one. Late acceptances used to fail silently. That's over. The connection now waits for you to be ready before signaling the other side. Front camera mirroring on the remote video is finally correct. Your friend no longer looks like they're reading backwards. And a few smaller things: the camera flip button moved down a bit so it stops touching the frame, and the overall connection reliability got a quiet but meaningful upgrade.
