Introducing Public Widgets. Live content on your home screen. Glance now has a social layer. Creators can publish widgets and share them with anyone. Followers subscribe once, and the content shows up directly on their iPhone home screen. No need to open an app and no notifications. It just lives there and updates. Discover Tab There is a new Discover tab where you can browse public widgets across categories like Motivation, Finance, Art, Sports, News, Lifestyle, Gaming, and more. You can filter by category, sort by newest or most subscribed, and see live previews right in the feed. Tap any widget to view more and subscribe in one tap. Subscribe to Widgets When you subscribe, the widget appears in a new “Subscribed” section alongside your own widgets. Content updates automatically whenever the creator posts. If a widget is removed, it falls back to a clean placeholder so nothing breaks on your home screen. Publish Your Widget Creators can now make any widget public from the widget page. Just toggle “Make Public,” choose a category, add a description, and decide if it should appear in Discover or only be shared with a link. Each widget gets a shareable link you can send anywhere. Upload Content From the App You can now update your widgets directly from inside Glance. Choose a widget, update the fields you want, and post. For image widgets, the app helps you crop everything to fit perfectly. You can also skip feeds and only update what changed. Widget Click Tracking If someone taps a link on your widget, it is now tracked as a click. You can see total clicks in the Insights section to understand how people are engaging with your content. Shareable Web Pages Every public widget has its own web page with a live preview, creator info, subscriber count, and an option to add it to Glance. Links work across iMessage, Twitter, Slack, and more, with rich previews included. Universal Links Opening a widget link on iPhone now takes you straight into the correct page inside Glance without going through the browser. New Icon We updated the app icon to better match Glance’s clean and simple design. Bug Fixes and Improvements We fixed a number of bugs and improved performance across the app to make everything smoother and more reliable.

Widgets just got smarter. You can now configure each widget independently to show exactly the feed you want right from your home screen. We've also added Sign in with Google and Apple for a faster, more seamless login experience. Plus the usual round of bug fixes and under-the-hood improvements.
