GOBUJI is a free daily check-in app for people who live alone and those who care about them.

HOW IT WORKS:
Open the app each day, rate your mood from 1 to 10, and tap record. It takes 5 seconds. You can add a short note too.
ANGELS:
Invite someone you trust to be your "angel." Angels can see your check-in status and mood calendar, giving them peace of mind without needing to call every day. If you miss check-ins, your angels get notified.
WHO IS GOBUJI FOR?:
- Families across distance -- Your parent lives alone, maybe in another country. Different time zones make it hard to call regularly. GOBUJI lets you know they're okay with a simple check-in.

WHY AN AKITA?:
Our mascot is inspired by Hachiko, the legendary Akita dog who waited faithfully at a train station every day for his owner. That same loyalty and devotion is what GOBUJI is about. Someone who watches over you, every single day, no matter what.
Inspired by the Japanese word ご無事 (gobuji), meaning "safe and well." Built with love for everyone.

Bug fixes and improvements:
- Fixed an issue where the daily reminder could fire after you'd already checked in.
- The follow-up reminder is now 1 hour later (was 15 minutes).
