Live two-way intercom for nearby iPhones and Bluetooth headsets. No internet, router, account, or push-to-talk button. HandsFreeCom turns two nearby iPhones and Bluetooth headsets into a live, two-way intercom. Speak naturally and hear the other person without holding a talk button. Each person needs an iPhone running iOS 18 or later and a Bluetooth headset with a microphone, such as AirPods. Connect each headset to its own iPhone, open HandsFreeCom on both phones, and approve the connection. • Full-duplex voice: both people can speak at the same time • Local wireless communication without internet, cellular service, a Wi-Fi router, or an account • Live microphone waveforms for both participants • Independent microphone mute and system output-volume control • Connection quality, estimated latency, and peer iPhone battery display • Audio continues during an active conversation with the screen locked or the app in the background • Optional diagnostics report export Keep Wi-Fi and Bluetooth enabled on both phones. Phone-to-phone audio uses local Wi-Fi; Bluetooth connects each headset to its own phone. If the headset is not selected automatically, use the audio-route button beside Handsfree. Audio is encrypted between the phones and is never recorded or saved. No advertising, analytics, subscriptions, or cloud servers. Noise cancellation is controlled by your headset and iOS. Performance and range depend on your devices and surroundings.
