Tonight’s deals sit in a row at the top of the venue list, each with a photo. • Swipe flash deals, happy hours, specials, events, and check-in promos, then tap a card to open that venue. • Photos show up right away, including flash deals at places that are not already in your nearby list. • When flash deals are live, See All Flash Deals opens the full set.

Search now leads with venue photos, so you can pick a spot at a glance. • Photo mosaic: search results show up to three venue photos on each card, plus the deal and address underneath. • Multi-spot challenges: some Live challenges let you check in at more than one venue, and some rewards can be redeemed once at each listed spot.

Find the night you actually meant — and vote on Chew without guessing if a poll is still live. • Search: type brunch, tacos, or rooftop and the right spots rise to the top, with ratings and photos on the cards. • Chew: vote on live polls, change your pick, and see clearly when a poll closes or has ended.

See venue photos and clips full-screen, keep the look you like, and tap a notification to land on the right screen. • Full-screen media: tap a venue photo, review clip, or Chew post to open it in a lightbox — swipe between shots and play video. • Dark Mode: Profile → Appearance. Turn Dark Mode on or off; the app keeps your choice even if the phone theme changes. • Smarter notifications: tap a hot alert, check-in promo, Chew, or plan invite and go straight to that screen instead of a generic list.

Venue pages now show that spot’s Passport deals and live challenges in one place. • Passport deals: open a venue to see members-only deals for that spot. Locked deals say “Subscribe to unlock.” • Live challenges: if a challenge is running there, it’s on the same page — tap through to play.

Chew is here — nominate spots, join polls, and enter raffles. Live now has Discover’s date and promo filters in one place. • New Chew tab: suggest a spot, request a review, vote in polls, and enter raffles (up to 100 winners). • Suggest a Spot and Past Voices open as their own sheets. • Live: browse nearby venues with shared date and promo filters (Discover is folded in).

Know a local gem that isn’t on the map yet? Tell us — and keep Live from being pinned by a long challenge. • Suggest a Spot: from Profile, search a restaurant or bar (or type it yourself) and tell us why it belongs on Chugachew. • Dismiss challenges: tap X on the Live challenge cards. The deal headline stays; a “2 Challenges” link remains so you can still open them.

See where you’ve been — and find spots Chugachew has actually reviewed. • Check-In History: look back at stays longer than 15 minutes, with check-in and check-out times and any deals from that visit. • Chugachew Verified: filter the venue list or swipe deck to venues with a published Chugachew food review. Verified spots show a Chugachew chip.

Checking in just got smoother. If you’re already at one spot and tap check-in at another nearby venue, HotSpot quietly switches you over—no checkout dance. Task rewards also stay fresher when campaigns change, and check-in messages are clearer when something’s already in progress.

Discover nearby spots faster with a new swipe-style venue deck — filter by radius, peek at tonight’s deals on the card, undo a misswipe, and open your liked picks when you’re ready. Challenges also got a polish pass: clearer live task-reward banners, better progress/reward details, and more reliable updates when you come back to the app.

Challenges & Rewards (new) — Earn rewards by completing in-app tasks. A new Challenges tab tracks your progress and unlocks task-based rewards. Smarter venue search — Search now understands what you mean, not just what you type: conceptual/"vibe" matching, "did you mean" suggestions, better recovery when a search returns nothing, and clearer highlighting of why each venue matched. Redesigned check-in deal redemption — The check-in promo screen has been rebuilt for a cleaner, faster redemption flow. Fresh, flatter look — A visual refresh across search, venue lists, feed, profile, planner, and HotSync brings a cleaner flat design and tighter iOS/Android consistency. Night Planner & HotSync polish — Refinements to plan lists, plan detail, and the planning wizard, plus HotSync updates.

Surprise — we can now send deals straight to you! Keep an eye out for exclusive offers dropped right into your Wallet, ready to redeem with a quick QR scan at the venue. Smoother venue browsing & Happy Hour deals • Browse without limits — the Nearby and Popular lists now load more spots automatically as you scroll. • Introducing Happy Hour deals! Check in during a venue's happy hour to unlock a redeemable QR code in your wallet, complete with the exact time window (e.g. 6:00 PM – 9:00 PM). • Faster, more reliable venue loading with less waiting.

• New Tap to Redeem — redeem deals on your own phone, no scan needed. • Venues can offer Tap to Redeem, NFC tap, or QR scan. • More accurate happy hour, specials, and event listings for today. • Improved check-in accuracy near clustered venues, plus bug fixes.

• Cleaner deal results: when a venue runs the same special more than once, search now shows it as a single deal with a "Runs N×" hint instead of repeating it — so it's easier to see what each spot actually offers. • Faster sign-up from venue flyers: scan a venue's QR code, install the app, and your check-in is now credited to that venue automatically when you create your account. • Smoother venue-partner tools: tap any field to copy it, and paste several email addresses at once when managing who's looped in on a featured-listing review. • Stability and performance improvements.

Minor bug fixes and styling fixes

Redeeming your deals just got easier! At venues without a scanner, you can now redeem check-in promotions right from your phone with a single tap—no QR scan or NFC tap required. Just hit "Tap to Redeem" and show the confirmation screen to staff. Plus general performance improvements and bug fixes.

Discover more, faster. • Smarter search — find venues by cuisine, drinks, vibe, and price, then jump straight into promo details. • Fresher deals — happy hours, specials, and events are updated more often so what you see is what's actually on. • Passport promotions — new featured perks and rewards from local spots. • Venue review videos, wallet, and richer venue categories. • Improved notifications so you only hear about the stuff you care about. • Performance improvements and bug fixes.

Smarter search and a sharper Night Planner. • Find any venue by name — anywhere. Searching a spot by name (like “Quokka Lounge”) finds it even when it’s far away, while deals, dishes, and happy hours stay near you. • Pick your area: choose a region (like Denver) or just search “Near me.” • Night Planner now has a Dessert vibe, and understands plans you type in your own words — try “end the night with ice cream” or “no loud clubs.” • Deals and events now show up on exactly the right day in each venue’s local time. • Plus performance and polish across search and venue pages.

This update makes finding your next spot faster and richer. • Smarter search: search now finds venues by their vibe and amenities (patio, cuisine, dog-friendly), by live deals, and even by specific menu items — all grouped by venue. • Tap any deal in search to open its full details instantly. • Richer venue pages: see amenities, menus with prices, and photos right on a venue's detail screen. • Plus reliability and polish improvements across discovery.
