Hush | AI for Spoken Audio 4+

Tried this out on some sample recordings taken in a bad space (a very echo-y hallway) and it turned them into usable recordings without destroying the quality. Also tried it on a couple full episodes of my podcast and the noise reduction is on par with Clarity Vx from waves (the pro version which costs way more). My only requests would be to give a little bit more control, for example if I don't need it to pay attention to certain frequency ranges that could reduce the processing needed. But for something that is brand new software, it far exceeded my expectations!

I absolutely love how simple this is to use. Im a youtuber and I ocasionally edit the audio file from my church for a podcast and I was immediately floored when I ran both of the spoken audio styles through Hush. The app is truly a drag and drop no frills easy as pie to use app that requires no real configuration and can even handle batches of files at once. I honestly love using this for the WAV files that are recorded as a first step before I drop it in Logic Pro X for the final edit. I use it on an m1 pro and it takes a few minutes but the results are so worth the wait. I just hope that the AUv3 plugin mentioned as a possible future feature can be released so I can use the app directly within Logic Pro X or maybe even FCPX too. The model is phenomal and well worth the introductory price. I do wish it was able to also fix the loudness so I dont have to use other software but overall this does one thing and it does it incredibly well. It removes noise from spoken audio with precision and ease. My dog is silent but the Fans and AC are no longer noticed and the Audio from my church sounds like a studio when it was recorded live in front of a live audience in a rather large auditorium. I look forward to an update with the possibility of an AUv3 Plugin.

This software is meant to take mediocre to good vocal recordings and make them great via drag and drop. it's easy to use and the results are fantastic.
It's not a swiss army knife, but it's not meant to be. it will take your amateur podcast or audiobook recordings and make them sound closer to a professional booth recording by reducing the roominess, echo, and automatically removing intrusive noises like AC noises, a dog barks, etc.
It works best for me on raw unedited audio, but your production pipeline may be different and take some experimentation to find the what works best for your setup. Considering the power for the affordable price, Hush is a valuable tool for anyone who doesn't have a vocal booth!
