It worked well at first. I paid to have a license. It recovered about 70% of my drive. But now everytime I open this app, it asks for my machine password to "make changes" and then the application just freezes and I need to "force quit". I've been stuck in this cycle for a few days so I'm giving up. I will say that my two question to support were both answered witihin 24 hours.

Not able to recover media files

This software was not able to successfully recover corrupted DNG image files and MP4 video files from a corrupted memory card. It pulled a few random thumbnails from previous videos, but that was all it was able to find. Would not recommend this product.Update Re Developer Response: I would love to use the NTFS/HFS files system, however all major camera manufactureres still use exFAT/FAT-32 for their devices which is the media I was trying to recover. I do use NTFS/HFS on all other longterm storage for the files, however as users of DSLR and Digital Cinema cameras we are bound to the contranints implemented in the firmware by the manufacturers.

It is normal. Because of exFAT/FAT32 file system its own properties, the disk space stored large files (Such as videos) is not continuous so that it is why the recovered large files cannot open, so we suggest you store the large files in NTFS/HFS+ file system.

I had a disk that with a partition that no other tool would let me inspect. iBoysoft Data Recovery's deep scan found the files on it, so I paid their fee and it got right to work recovering the files. Just what you'd expect in a data recovery software.
