Version 4: rebuilt from the ground up with accurate beeps, level announcements, a new design and a total score out of 400. Train for military, police and fire service fitness tests with a coach in your pocket. GymMate Bleep Tests runs the four classic entry-test events and scores each one out of 100: • BLEEP TEST (20 m multi-stage fitness test). Accurate, drift-free beeps from 8.5 km/h, a triple beep and a voice announcement at every level, and a live countdown ring to the next beep. Keeps running with your phone locked. • PRESS-UPS. 60 reps in 2 minutes to a 2-second beat, counted out loud. • SIT-UPS. 85 reps in 2 minutes, counted out loud. • PULL-UPS. Up and down on the beep until you can't keep the rhythm. Tap "I'm out" the moment you stop and the app records exactly what you completed, with a one-tap adjustment before you save. TRACK YOUR PROGRESS • Every result is saved to your account and syncs between devices. • Personal bests, averages and charts for each test. • A total score out of 400 from your latest results or your personal bests. MADE FOR THE GYM • Huge, glanceable numbers you can read from across the hall. • Haptic beeps you can feel with headphones in. • Choose any Siri voice for the instructions. • Works with VoiceOver, Dynamic Type and Reduce Motion, in light or dark mode. Set up a 20 m course, turn the volume up and press Start.

Tests without results

Took me a minute to set up conditions. Have to have 20 meters measured out for the vo2 max portion, then had to set phone so it wouldn’t lock or else it didn’t indicate the next run. After all that, it didn’t give accurate results, just a “0.” Straight up Isn’t usable for Vo2 max.

Nice app. It's easy to use. But how do I learn the result of the scores? Where are the age-range norms in order to learn how I need to improve?

Version 4 is a complete rebuild. • Accurate bleep test: proper levels from 8.5 km/h, triple beeps and voice announcements, no timing drift, and it keeps running with the screen locked. • Press-ups, sit-ups and pull-ups now run to a spoken cadence and count every rep. • Tap "I'm out" to record exactly what you completed, then adjust by one before saving. • New design with a total score out of 400, per-test tiles, charts and history. • Works in light and dark mode, with haptic beeps, Siri voice selection and VoiceOver support. • Delete your account and data from Settings.
