Saving the money is useless if I can’t access it when I need it.

So let me start by saying the 3 stars is not because this app isn’t amazing. This app is absolutely amazing! It has saved me so much money without me even having to try. It really is awesome. The 3 star rating is because probably about half of the time when I open the app it doesn’t actually let me connect to it or open it at all. It pops up this message that says “Unable to Connect Apologies we’re having some trouble reaching digit. Working to reestablish connection.” And then it says “try now” and I’ll press that button and it keeps showing the same original message. This hasn’t really bothered me because it always ends up working again at some point but this time something came up and I needed to access some of that money on Friday and it showed me that message. I know it takes a few days for the money to go back into your account when you pull it out anyways so adding even more time on top of that was super frustrating. It’s now Wednesday, almost an entire week later, and it’s still showing me the same message. It’s extremely frustrating because now the bill I needed to pay is going to be late and I’m going to be charged a late fee for not paying it on time when I could have paid it on time if I had been able to access my money when I needed to. It’s super frustrating. So idk what’s causing that problem or why it keeps showing me that message but I hope it gets resolved soon because saving the money is useless if I can’t use it when I need it.

Love this app!! BUT please bring back auto pay for credit cards!!!!

I absolutely love this app. I would never been able to save money without it. I have never been good at saving money myself but with the app taking out little bits of money I have been able to save a good amount of money. You can decide if you want to save a little or a lot and it knows if you don’t have very much money & it will only take out under $1. The algorithms are amazing at knowing when you can save more & when you can’t. 🌟The only thing I miss is it had a category to hook up a credit card & it would save every month for a credit card payment & pay whatever it saved to the credit card automatically. THIS WAS AWESOME!!👏 I was really getting my credit card paid down because it!! I know you can create a specific goal of saving to pay off a credit card but it doesn’t seem the same because I have to physically go in and transfer it to my card. I really wish they would bring that back. My brother turned me on to this app & I know he lived using that too. I would even be willing to pay more for that service. Other than that I have NEVER had any problems with not being able to get my money when I needed it, overdrafting my account, or taking more money than what it shows going into my savings goal. They are definitely on the up and up and I highly recommend them and have been using them since FEB 2020.

Digit is a Lifesaver

I don’t make a whole lot of money due to COVID and having hours cut. But I have a whole boatload of bills. I’m also moving in a couple months and was stressing beyond belief on how I’d find the money. Simple: Digit. They automatically save to a rainy day fund which I refuse to touch in case of emergencies. Even better, for a small (and I mean SMALL) fee, I can get my money out the same day if I need it. I made a category called “Moving” and so far Digit has saved plenty for me to reduce my stress levels and I don’t even notice the money gone from my bank account. I’ve connected one of my credit cards that is close to the limit and let me tell you, every month when I look at how much Digit has saved (I have the boost on that so it saves a lot!) and is going to automatically pay for me, it’s like a weight lifted off my shoulders. I just recently added my student loan account as well and I wish I would’ve done it so much sooner. One of my favorite parts about Digit is when I go to check what it’s saved for me and it says something along the lines of “I didn’t save anything today because you have bills coming up and saving before they’re due could cause your account to drop below a safe level.” Like THANK YOU. Also, my bank account dropped so low once that Digit NOTICED and automatically transferred my Rainy Day fund to my bank account, I didn’t have to do a thing. I plan on keeping this app for a very very long time and using it every time I want to save for something. 10/10 recommend.

I don’t normally write reviews but Digit has helped me SO much. I am struggling financially (always have) so I never feel like I have enough money to set aside to save for anything. I have all these goals to save up for but could never get around to actually putting the money aside. Digit has helped me do that! I can’t remember when I started (I think about a year ago) but since then I’ve saved over $1,000 for various things. By taking out a dollar or two at a time automatically from the bank, it doesn’t feel like I’m setting aside anything but it really adds up! I like that you can customize each goal and have multiple at a time. I also love the Rainy Day fund (what I have mine set for). It takes a couple dollars out at a time when I have enough money, and when my bank account goes below a certain number (I have it set to $50) Digit will but the money from my Rainy Day fund back into my account automatically. As I said, I am struggling financially so I have found myself in a pickle a few times and I can withdraw the money I’ve saved from any of the goals and it goes right back in. It takes a few days rather than automatic deposit but that’s helped me out a few times.I’m so so so happy that I use this app, it’s helped me save money when I didn’t think it was possible for me! I have almost $300 saved for my biggest goal at the moment and have saved a couple hundred more in several other goals. And all while not feeling like I’m saving anything because I’m not making large withdrawals. Thank you thank thank you!!!
