What to expect after download:
1. Sign-up in the app with your email, you will also need your NPI # and DEA #.
2. Confirmation email will be sent to you.
3. Next, our security partner will send you an email to verify your identity with your ID card, SSN, and DEA number.
4. You will then need to answer a series of security questions to confirm your identity.
5. We use 2FA for verification and access.
6. Once all of this is complete and your identity is verified, your getRx account will be activated and ready to prescribe. All of this can be done, in less than 15 minutes.

I thought that this is a great app - at least in the description. However, whenever I tap the “sign up” tab, the whole app disappears. I then had to open it back from the App Store or from the icon display and then the cycle continues.

I downloaded the app and spent considerable time entering all my information, only to be locked out because it reported an error with my DEA license—even though my license is active. I contacted support by email because there is no phone number or other way to reach them, and I am still waiting for a response.The app requires users to log in to receive help, but I cannot log in because of the license-verification issue. It should allow users to access their accounts, review their information, and correct or double-check the DEA number. I received the email verifying my account, but I never received anything to verify my license.I also hope I was not charged. This has been a frustrating experience, and I cannot recommend this app.

Stronger safeguards for EPCS prescriptions
We've tightened up a few details to help every prescription go out complete and compliant:
• Patient phone number is now required before sending — so pharmacies can always reach your patients.
• Refills for Schedule II (C-II) medications are now automatically locked at zero, in line with DEA rules.
