Learn Quranic Arabic
Understand what you recite
Free · Designed for iPad. Not verified for macOS.
Understand Qur’anic words in context with guided verses, friendly grammar, listening, scramblers, Kids Mode and English or Urdu guidance.
Understand more of the Qur’an you already read—one useful word, phrase and verse at a time.
Learn Quranic Arabic combines structured lessons with real Qur’anic context. Instead of memorizing isolated vocabulary, you see how each lesson word appears inside a complete verse, what it means there and how its Arabic form is built.

WHO IT IS FOR
This app is for learners who can already read Qur’anic Arabic and want to understand more of what they recite. It focuses on vocabulary, meaning and introductory grammar; it does not teach the Arabic alphabet or beginner pronunciation.
The lesson sequence is designed as a companion to the Mafaheem-ul-Qur’an course materials. Qur’anic text, translations and morphology sources are acknowledged in the app’s Credits section.
This update makes practice clearer and more focused:
• Fixed overlap with Android status icons and Samsung navigation controls
• Added safer spacing around iPhone notches and the Home indicator
• Replaced the unreliable notification emoji with a clear bell icon
• Write your own translation before revealing the reference answer in the verse exercise
• Larger, easier-to-read translations in Verse Scramble
• A cleaner Words list without course branding
• Fixed a mobile navigation issue that could leave the bottom menu floating above the screen edge
Also includes Lesson Guides, learner-friendly verse breakdowns, Meaning Scramble, Verse Scramble, English and Urdu learning, and the five-item navigation that remembers your choices.
