Coverage and speeds in Da Nang have been excellent, and the My Viettel app is fast and reliable for checking balance, topping up, and buying data packs. As an international visitor, the only challenge is language: most screens and verification steps are Vietnamese-only. A full English option (UI labels, eKYC guidance, number selection, OTP/payment prompts, and support) would make the experience outstanding for tourists and expats. Thank you for a solid service—adding English would earn an easy 5★ from me.

The App Store says ‘English’ - but the app is completely in Vietnamese. I understand it’s a Vietnamese company - just don’t say you can do something that you can’t do.

It’s nice to have all the information on the app but it was just missing the option to use my credit card as I use that to get points. It does allow the debit but what’s the use when you don’t get much from the debit card. That’s the reason for the 3 stars. That’s a big part especially if you want to do business. Allowing more options for the customer always helps keep the customer around.

Internet is slow. Other floors away from the router in the house don’t get any WiFi even with 3 ‘mesh’ devices. Keeps disconnecting. Even the LAN connection randomly stops sometimes.When asking in Vietnamese, the same repair guy always comes back himself and gives the same attitude without a solution. We paid a lot, and the good service disappeared since we paid. No refund option, and no English. If they don’t figure something out I’ll change to Vinaphone.
