We've made some great improvements to keep your diary running smoothly! Bookings now stay exactly where they should when switching between segments — no more missing or misplaced reservations. We've also improved how bookings are moved and reassigned, so everything updates reliably. Booking Codes are now available on iPhone! Codes can now be assigned during the booking process and are visible in the booking detail view on both iPhone and iPad, including codes generated by our Co-pilot integration. The customer star rating has moved to the Edit Customer screen, keeping guest preferences where they belong. The iPad booking detail layout has been refreshed for a cleaner, more intuitive experience that better matches the iPhone app. Enjoy!

Creating bookings is now smarter. When you tap an empty table cell, the app automatically adjusts the booking duration to fit the available space before the next reservation, and a notification lets you know when this happens. Dragging bookings in the grid view is now smoother, with horizontal auto-scrolling when you move near the left or right edges. Your table selection is now preserved when changing a booking's duration, so you no longer need to re-select tables after making adjustments. The new booking notification bell now respects your diary's channel-specific settings for internal and online bookings. Waitlist email handling has been improved when SMS is configured as the communication channel. Enjoy

We've introduced a new in-app Help feature, accessible from the Help button on the menu. This provides instant access to support through a helpful chat assistant, and if needed, you can easily submit a request directly to our support team — all without leaving the app. We've also made improvements to periodic closeouts, ensuring smoother and more reliable management of your restaurant's availability. Additionally, when creating a booking by selecting an empty table from the Table Plan or Grid, your chosen table will now remain selected even if you adjust the party size — keeping your initial selection intact throughout the booking process. As 2025 draws to a close, we've got one last update for you. On iPhone, you can now edit or add a customer to a booking directly from the booking detail view. Further fixes and improvements. There was an issue that if the app had been closed for a long period of time, on re-opening the app, some important actions could fail, like bookings & edits etc. This issue has now been addressed thankfully. Enjoy!

Following payments flow being added to the iPhone version, we see the 'Skip' option with Card requirements wasn't being removed for users who didn't have the 'skip' privilege. All sorted now. We also added a couple of background improvements too. Enjoy

Payments comes to iPhone. You will now be able to fully utilise your diary's Payment setup when creating or editing a booking. The Payments flow has been optimised to be as intuitive as possible and a Payments overview has been added a on the booking detail view. This update fixes a specific issue for phone users who were sometimes unable to create a booking out-with their Service.

We've updated the phone instance of Plus to also include Custom Fields within the booking process and visibility within the booking detail view. Following Apple's release of iOS 26, we've also made a couple of tweak to keep the look the same Enjoy!

We've made some background improvements in preparing for upcoming features.

We've added a brand new feature to Plus on iPhone! Within the Overview section of the app, you can now choose to see the 'Monthly Forecast' giving you an easy way to visualise how busy your upcoming bookings are. Naturally this'll help when planning staffing levels, kitchen supplies or marketing campaigns. Other background improvements have been made too. Enjoy!

Tiny, but crucial update. Some restaurants experienced an issue navigating to 15th of June for Father's Day where they had a new segment created. It's sorted now though

This update includes a lot of background work that has allowed us to eradicate some pesky 'rare, but there' issues. We've also now made it easy to see what version you have installed by adding a version label on the login screen and also within the setting views. When you're logging in to the app and asked to enter your password, you'll now be able to reveal what you typed by pressing the eye icon. No more password typo worries - phew! Enjoy

Continuing our focus on growing the phone instance of ResDiary Plus, we’ve added a new section You can now view your Table Plan view in portrait and landscape mode. On Table Plan or Grid View, when selecting an empty table to make a booking, the booking flow process has been streamlined, making it a much quicker flow. The booking detail page also includes ability to update the booking’s arrival or meal status. We’ve also worked on some background improvements, ironing out issues that had been reported. Enjoy!

Update for iPhone instance of the app. Grid view is now accessible when in portrait mode. Turning to landscape still gives you additional screen space and some options for Grid and Closeout views, though we've made it easy to view no matter what orientation of the phone. We've brought some flow improvements to Plus on iPhone, together with some background improvements. You can now view and change the status of the booking directly from the booking list. Select the new status icon on the booking which will show the other status options you can switch to. We've also added a quicker 'Walk In flow' in the booking process so you can create these in fewer clicks. Choose new 'Add Walk In' within booking flow so current time slot is automatically used and diner details won't be requested. Enjoy
