In first grade, my daughter started taking 30 min of piano lessons per week as one of her schools’ extracurriculars. By the end of the year, she had beautiful technique, but could only barely play short simple songs (<30 seconds) with slow quarter notes. My husband and I are musically inclined (we play drums/bass guitar/cello for fun at a pretty high level, but know little about piano and weren’t totally thrilled about her liking piano). But bc she likes it, we support it. About 6 weeks ago, in the summer between 1st and 2nd grade, she really missed going to piano class so I got her this app. WOW. It was like pouring GASOLINE on a FIRE. She became ADDICTED to the app and piano (we now give her a 1 hour piano time limit on weekdays and 2 hours on weekends— otherwise she’d do nothing but play piano). She is now playing longer songs (>3 min) with 16th notes. She just saw her piano teacher for the first time this year (she’s now in 2nd grade), and she was in disbelief how much she has improved. The app has limitations (I think my daughter having a foundation in piano really made this work), but wow has it been a game changer. It took her all year to go through a few pages in her fundamental piano book, she’s now ripped through the first two books in her first 2 weeks back at school. She’s now able to play things by ear, sight read like it’s nothing, etc. I don’t think this app would have been as successful with her not knowing the fundamentals, but wow, so grateful how happy it’s made her.

I have loved learning instruments since I was a kid, starting with drums, to guitar, to bass, and now piano. The thing learning all instruments seem to have in common is the learning curve. It can be truly difficult to find ways to progress without paying for lessons or finding someone to teach you. With this app though that learning curve seemed almost non-existent. I had played piano for fun as a kid, never learning anything beyond heart and soul, and so when I got a keyboard I felt like I was starting at ground zero. I had predetermined that my few month goal would be to play Piano Man, and here I am 3 days later able to play it along with sheet music. I have spent nearly 6 hours these last 3 days familiarizing myself with the courses the app offers and can proudly say I reached my goal very rapidly. The hundred dollar price tag is quite jarring-I myself thought it would not be worth-but after witnessing my progress I can easily say it’s worth purchasing. Furthermore, for those who are unable to afford it can receive a whole free week, no strings attached which is truly impeccable. You get access to the whole app for 7 days and as fast as you are able to progress in that time is as far as you are able to get through the courses. I myself am using this as my cash reserves are a little low following the purchase of my keyboard. I can definitely say I will be buying full access after I get a bit more money saved up again. This is definitely one of the best learning methods you will be able to find anywhere!

I LOVE THIS APP it teaches you sooooo much and thanks to this app I’m going to do piano lessons. I started with a keyboard but I only started because i had a keyboard that just sat out so I thought that it should get some use out of it and I have been seeing the adds for this and I saw the add of that one little girl who learned on that little cat keyboard for kids and I believed that if she started on that I could use a keyboard for it and I played and I.... LOVED IT simpleypiano is just an amazing app and if I did not download it I would not love to play piano and this even makes me think of the time in 2 grade where we learned how to make those things that are like she sells sea shells by the sea shore and we did this thing where whe would get to pull a little ticket that had someone’s name on it and you would get to make one of those for the person who’s name you pulled and it would have there name in it and I have came up with a name for myself with one of those “ P plays piano peacefully.” P is my nick name my friends call me but any way I love this app and I think you should get it if you have a piano that doesn’t get used just like mine and I went from not playing it at all to playing two handed songs I hope you download this app if you have a piano that just sits around it can really change you trust me😆😁😆😄😃😋😛😝 oh just saying that you don’t need to pay I just do the 5 min workout and I learned really good from that thank you for reading bye😋
