• NASmeister now has a Notification Center: the same notifications your DSM's own bell keeps, grouped by severity (or by category on DSM6), with a detail view for each one. • Disk Health: a new SSD Cache (M.2) section shows the cache's status and hit rate. • File Station: shared folders now show their quota, both individually and all at once from the Shared Folders list. • Storage widget: with more than one volume, the compact size now shows the rest of them too, not just the main one. Fixes • Scanning for a NAS at larger text sizes cut off the address, the more useful part, while the model name stayed whole; the address now comes first and stays whole. • Applying a layout template saved on a device with a different board width, such as an iPad template on an iPhone, could crash the app; the template is now rearranged to fit. • Right after unlocking the iPhone, the app could occasionally report a wrong username or password even though it was correct; it now waits a moment and signs in on its own.

• NASmeister now supports iPad: the dashboard uses the full width of the screen, with a sidebar for your servers and wider tiles for many modules. • Backup: pin a tile to a single Hyper Backup task, so the board can hold one tile per backup plan. • Certificates: pin one certificate to the tile. • The app can open a server or a group directly on launch (Settings, "Open on launch"). • A server missing from your iCloud backup is now offered one from the server list (Pro). Fixes • Sign-in could fail with "You don't have permission to access this feature" even with the right password, because the app identified itself under an old package name that DSM checks against application privileges. • Disk Health could call a failed drive healthy when it judged the drive only by S.M.A.R.T. fields, which stay "normal" on a drive DSM has already marked as crashed. • The Storage widget's medium size cut off the volume line, hid the total capacity, and showed a heading that read as a verdict on the whole storage instead of the drive it was about. • Scanning for a NAS showed the model before the name and cut off the address; both now show in full, name first.

Fixed: • Widget settings: switching the server a widget follows left the volume list showing the previous server's volumes, and the volume of the NAS you had just picked could be missing from the list altogether. Almost every NAS has a /volume1, and the list collapsed those into one entry labelled with whichever device came first. The widget always drew the right volume of the right NAS, so this was a wrong label rather than wrong data. The list now shows the volumes of the server you selected, and nothing else. A volume you had already chosen is unaffected. Updating from 2.6? Then this also brings everything 2.7 added: Widgets. • System Health: a new tile shows what your NAS reports as wrong, from a failed fan or power supply to a volume that went read-only or a restart it is waiting for. • Certificates: see how many days are left until your nearest certificate expires, which services use it, and the full list with issuers and dates. • Auto Block: see how many addresses your NAS has blocked after failed sign-in attempts, when each was blocked and when the block expires. • Network: the detail now shows the link speed of every interface and points out a connection running below what the port supports. • SSH Access: see whether shell access to your NAS is open and on which port, and switch SSH off (or back on) without opening DSM. • Custom URL tiles can now be any size you like, from a single square showing one value up to the full board. • VoiceOver: the dashboard can now be rearranged entirely from the rotor, each page announces what needs attention, and tiles on pages you are not on are no longer part of the accessibility tree. • The module gallery search now finds tiles by their translated name as well as their English one. • Tiles for a feature your NAS does not have, such as Hyper Backup or Container Manager, now say so instead of spinning.

• Package Updates: see at a glance how many installed packages have an update available, with the installed and available version for each, and tap a package to read its release notes. • Fan Speed: choose a cooling preset for your NAS. • Buzzer: silence the NAS beeper and see which events are set to beep. • LED Brightness: dim or switch off the status lights on supported models, and see the schedule they follow. • Custom URL: a new tile that shows the plain text returned by any address you choose, so a small script on your NAS can put its own status on your dashboard. Five example scripts are included. • Backup: a new tile for Hyper Backup shows whether the last run succeeded and when the next one is due; the detail adds each task's destination, size and last integrity check. Read only. • The app now follows your device language by default, and Croatian is available alongside English, Slovenian, German and French. • Lock an individual tile behind Face ID or your passcode. • Configurable tiles: point Storage, Storage Pool, Disk Health or Network at a single volume, pool, enclosure or interface. • Top processes: the CPU and Memory details show the biggest consumers on your NAS. • Filter chips in the module gallery, a mark on modules already on your dashboard, and a running-only filter in Containers. • Better VoiceOver: number tiles now speak a summary in a consistent order (name, value, then any notable difference), and even the smallest tiles include the module name. • Smoother, continuous usage colors, plus a new wide 4x1 tile for Memory and Storage. • Containers now has a visible Update button to pull a newer image. • The one-time Lifetime purchase is now the first option on the purchase screen, clearly marked as not a subscription. • Various fixes and refinements.

Files (Pro): your NAS files, right from the dashboard. • Browse your NAS: the new tile opens a browser that starts at your shared folders and goes as deep as you like, with photo thumbnails in the list. • Tap a file for its details and a preview: photos, PDFs, text and more open in the system viewer. • Take files with you: download a file, or select several and let your NAS zip them, then share the result or save it to Files on your device. • Manage files too: upload from your device or photo library, create folders, rename, copy, move and delete, with a confirmation before anything is removed. • Search inside a folder and its subfolders, pack files into an archive on the NAS or extract one, and create a sharing link with a QR code. • A File Tasks screen shows what the NAS is copying, moving or deleting, even if you started it elsewhere. • Sort by name, size, date or kind; NASmeister remembers your choice. Also new: • NASmeister now speaks German and French, alongside English and Slovenian. Choose your language in Settings. • Appearance: pick Light or Dark, or leave it on Match System. • Uptime is now the main value on the System tile, and it reads clearly at every tile size. • Much better VoiceOver support: the module gallery is usable again, tiles read as one sentence, charts and gauges report their values, and editing the board no longer needs dragging. With Reduce Motion on, tiles no longer wobble. Bug fixes: • QuickConnect: connecting while you are away from home no longer fails with a lookup error, and a problem is reported right away instead of after about a minute. • Dashboard: tiles no longer end up on other pages after rotating the device while editing the board. • Disk Health: drives are listed in slot order again on units with more than a couple of bays. • Uptime is now the same number on the tile and on the detail screen, and its units are translated. • Clearer message when your NAS refuses a request, instead of "The data couldn't be read".

Bug fixes: • The prompt for a self-signed certificate (the default on Synology NAS devices) is now much clearer, and cancelling explains what happened and how to change it later. • If iOS Local Network access is turned off, NASmeister now detects it and offers a shortcut to enable it, instead of a confusing timeout. • More reliable device discovery: each NAS appears once and scanning is more dependable. • Adding a server from discovery now updates the name and image when you pick a different device. • Fixed the Log Center filters not appearing on iOS 26. • Sign-in fields and several other screens are now properly translated instead of showing English. • The Rate button now opens the App Store review form directly. • Improved privacy: file paths and names are no longer included in diagnostic reports. Also: • Containers now has a visible Update button to pull a newer image.

This update is focused on fixes. Bug fixes: • QuickConnect connections are far more reliable, especially from outside your home network, and connection errors are now clear and readable. • The UPS module no longer incorrectly shows "No UPS connected" when a UPS is attached. • Two-factor sign-in is more dependable: the "Remember this device" option is now reachable and the code prompt can no longer get stuck. • Fixed a crash that could occur when removing a server. • Fixed the value inside a ring gauge touching the edge on smaller screens. • Faster sign-in when you're away from home. • Tiles for a feature that needs an uninstalled package now tell you exactly what's missing. • Various smaller fixes and stability improvements. Also new: • Virtual Machines module (Pro): monitor and control Synology Virtual Machine Manager — power guests on or off, view details, edit or delete them, and browse the log. • Two-factor sign-in can now remember your device, so you don't need a code every time. • Containers module: start and stop are now visible rows at the top of the container details, not just a swipe action.

New ways to see and manage your NAS: • Server Groups (Pro): combine two to four NAS devices into a single group that opens one shared dashboard, with each tile color-coded to show which NAS it's reading from. A Server Colors tile shows the legend at a glance. • Containers module: manage Docker / Container Manager containers - view status and resource usage, start/stop/restart, browse details and logs, control Compose projects, and pull newer images with progress. • Full-screen landscape view: rotate your iPhone to focus on one tile at a time, plus a Kiosk mode that cycles through them automatically and keeps the screen awake. • Wake on LAN: power your NAS back on from your iPhone, or have it wake your other devices, even remotely via QuickConnect. New monitoring modules: • Disk Health - drive temperatures and S.M.A.R.T. status. • Storage Pool - RAID and pool health. • Folder Sync - status of Shared Folder Sync (S2S) tasks between two NAS devices. • Drive Sync - status of Synology Drive ShareSync connections, with folders, history, and pause/resume. Deeper insight: • Usage history for CPU, Memory, Disk and Network by day, week, month, 6 months or year - press and hold a graph to read exact values. • Choose your preferred temperature unit (°C or °F).
