Flip Block is a block puzzle game with colorful blocks, four modes, and power-ups for when you get stuck.
Classic mode uses the full 20×10 board: stack blocks to clear rows and columns. 1010 Mode is the same idea on a smaller, faster 10×10 grid. Casual mode drops the hardest 6-block shapes. Zen mode uses fixed pieces on an 8×8 board for a slower round.

GAME MODES

ROTATE OR FIXED
Each mode is tagged so you know what to expect:
• ↻ Rotate (Classic, 1010 & Casual) — tap a shape to spin it before you drop it
• ⊘ Fixed (Zen) — shapes stay as they come, no rotating

• Pick 1 of 3 block shapes each turn
• Tap to rotate in Rotate modes
• Drag and drop to place
• Fill a row or column to clear it and score
• Sort blocks into gaps to last longer

POWER-UPS
• Magic — remove any block from the board
• Flip — mirror a shape so it fits into a tight spot
• Undo — take back your last move

I really have enjoyed this game. Few ads and those that are there are not intrusive. I prefer to work at my own pace and this is not a timed game. Sometimes I score well and other times I can't do anything right. The result is my trying over and over to meet or exceed my highest score. If you like a thinking game vs an action game- you will enjoy this game.
Casual Mode isn't casual

I paid to remove the ads. So what do I see at the end of ever game.... ads! What are we paying for. Good spin on the classic Tetris, but lose two stats for the misleading purchase offer.Update: All day are goneNow I the "undo" option (power up?) no longer works, even though I have more than enough points to use it. It use to work.This desperately needs a true "Casual Mode" that uses just the standard Tetris shapes, given by chance. I've been playing this for years and I know it's learning messing with me. In Casual Mode, my usual choice to kill time, it now gives me bizarre shapes within the first level. Nothing "casual" about that!It's so bad that I've found myself not playing it for long stretches of time.
Calibration Issue with Update

Play this game all the time, but the new update makes all the blocks drop really low on the screen when I take them out of the side area. :(A setting to choose toggle the accelerated movement feature would be great, in my opinion! Ideally it would be accessible from within gameplay. Thanks for the reply!

Thanks for playing Flip Block. We removed the move acceleration feature in this update, because there is complaint from some users that it's hard to control the move. We can add a setting to config it if you like this feature.

...but needs some add'l features. Examples: let us buy coins - hey, the devs would make some money. Also, it would be very handy to be able to reverse a block: change one to its mirror image. You could charge coins for that, too. Not interested in a high-score competition with other players, but listing my own high scores would be a nice feature (and which has been in this kind of game for umpteen years.
• Smoother game over screen: buttons respond faster and more reliably
