The new Sensor Screen reads EMF and Vibration live, side by side. EMF Alarm now fires on dips and spikes. Open it and see what comes through.
The lights flicker. Your phone hums in your hand. Somewhere in the static, a voice is trying to come through. Are you listening?
Ghost Hunting Tools is a full paranormal investigation kit running on your phone. Spirit box, EVP scanner, ghost detector, and EMF meter, all in one app. Built for first-time ghost hunters and veteran investigators alike. Free to use, with a Pro upgrade when you are ready to dig deeper.
What's inside
Spirit Box and Ghost Talker
Open a session and the app scans for ghostly signals, pulling words from a curated dictionary in real time. Read them on screen, hear them spoken aloud, and watch as patterns start to form. The kind of one-word-at-a-time communication serious investigators look for, without the radio hiss.
EVP Scanner
Capture Electronic Voice Phenomena from the ambient noise around you. Phrases, fragments, names. Some you will write off as coincidence. Others will sit with you longer than you expected.
EMF Detector (NEW on iOS)
Brand new in version 2.21.4: a working EMF meter pulled straight from your phone's sensors. Watch the readings spike when something steps into the field. Cross-reference with the spirit box and you have two channels lining up at once.
Sensor Dashboard
EMF, motion, light. Your phone has more paranormal-detection capability than most people realize, and the dashboard reads all of it. Easy-to-follow graphs let you spot the moment everything goes quiet, right before it doesn't.
The Word Bank
A large dictionary of words the app surfaces during scans. No filler, no random noise for the sake of it. Just the vocabulary that paranormal investigators have reported reaching for them again and again. Pro unlocks a much bigger bank and lets you add your own words.
Pro Version
Remove ads, unlock the expanded dictionary, and add custom words of your own: names of the deceased, places of interest, anything you suspect might be listening. Pro purchases also fund continued development of the app, so the hunt keeps getting better because of the people who go pro.
Why people keep this app on their home screen
You do not have to believe in ghosts to enjoy Ghost Hunting Tools. You just have to be curious about what happens in the quiet moments. Open the app at a bonfire, in a basement, in an empty hotel room. Bring a friend. Tell us what you find.
Ghost hunt safely
Trust your instincts. Don't go alone to places you don't know. If something feels wrong, close the app and walk away. Tools are tools, and your judgment is what keeps you safe.
A note on entertainment
Ghost Hunting Tools is built for fun and curiosity. We can't promise you will talk to a real ghost. We can promise you will have a story.

So, I downloaded this app with my sister about a year ago. We honestly just downloaded it to mess about, but we started getting some responses that were freaking us out. We ended up using the app at my grandma’s house, where her mom had died. We got the name Lynn and thought nothing of it…until my grandma told me that Lynn was her moms name. I personally have a ton of experience in the paranormal field and have taken quite an interest to it, and I believe that this app is real. The thing that really caught me off guard though is for a couple of months, I didn’t mess with the app because I was super busy. My great-grandpa, with the last name of Wood, passed back in March and my mom got all of the honorary stuff, as well as some of the passed-down furniture. Well, I was sitting in my mom’s living room and just opened the app for toots and giggles and for some reason, the EVPs were spiking as soon as I opened the app, and I had never seen that happen before. The word finally came through after a second of waiting and the word was Wood…my great-grandpa’s name, as well as my mom’s maiden-name/current surname. I really freaked me out. When using this app, or any app like it, always make sure you know what you’re doing and that you know how to say goodbye and announce to the spirits that you’re leaving. I highly recommend this app for anything to do with paranormal investigating. Good luck, and don’t forget to say goodbye.

I occasionally like to listen to spirit box having not done it for a while I downloaded this app against my better judgement having read the reviews I started off with a prayer lit my white candles smudged and put up my protection bubble I also have protection from negative energies everywhere in my house but somehow something still came through it started off peaceful with a few random words when I said something about the spirit box It said box and again some random words came through when I asked if any family wanted to come through and stated that my sister had come through once before it said “ she knew” I asked what she knew and it said “cancer” and then “ preacher” I said I don’t care I don’t want to know by this point I had dropped my bubble and my sage had burned out I could feel negative energies creeping back in so I asked them to leave again and silence came through the box I asked if any of my guides wanted to come through and once again something negative came through I more aggressively said if you are negative or harmful leave my house you are not welcome here then the box said “punished” I ignored it and started relighting my sage sort of like saying I’m not scared of you and then the box said “ son” my thoughts turned immediately to my unprotected son in the other room to which I replied you will not dare touch my son leave this house goodbye and I deleted to app I truly believe this app is not good please know what you are doing if you’re going to download it
Strange coincidence

So, today I went to the Whaley house in San Diego with my friend. The woman named Bones told us about this app. We downloaded the app and we turned it on. We waited for the group that was noisy upstairs come down then my friend and I went up the stairs to the theater room. A couple of names popped up. The main one was Thomas who was the man that bought the land and built the house. He haunts the house. Also, when I was near the staircase there is a story about Anna Whaley being pushed on the stairs. The words Stairs and Pushed showed up. On the woman Bones app the name Anna came up. And on my friends app it said hurt..pushed me. Also another one guys app that was in the room with us said the name Jim. Yankee Jim was hanged on the property before the house was built on some willow trees. Also, in on my app it said dawn, on his app it said sunrise. Therefore he would’ve been hung at dawn, sunrise. And after this on the guys app it said “Ask Adam” and a couple of minutes later on my app the voice said “Adam yes” The tour guide Bones was dumbfounded by this, she snapped a picture of both of our phones together. If none of you are familiar with the Whaley house, look it up. And also on my friends app it showed “wailing” and the courthouse it said uphold, believe him and phrase. Kind of like a lawyer saying these words. I find with the coincidences that yes that app does work. Too many similarities with the words popping up on the app that match the legends of the Whaley house.
Actually real

This is the most legit app out there. Here’s a story, I was thinking it was fake and I slid off the couch where I was sitting because I was so angry. Right then the word appeared “ground” and if that’s not spooky, me and my friend were playing the piano (my phone open to the app sitting next to me) and my sis came up with her mlp pinkie pie stuffed animal and started slamming it on the piano. The app came up with the word “pinky,” which isn’t how you spell the name but holy crap. This next story I will share with you happened a long time ago, but, I remember me and my friend sitting around and just talking to the “spirits,” we asked for a name and shortly after a name popped up. Then another word popped up shortly after (maybe a minute or so) and me and my dumb self though hey maybe that’s the first and last name. So I googled it. Apparently this person was an extremely famous artist, and piano player. (Keep in mind we were playing the piano earlier) I was kind of shocked but I was like hey, a coincidence. 5 minutes later the ghost said “english” and the artist/pianist I remembered something oddly similar. So I opened the google page back up again and guess what? The person was in fact English (from England and sorts) So yeah, this app either was extremely coincidental, or extremely legit. I’ll let you decide but my view is that this ghost has been following me my whole life, and I’ve been drawing since I was 3 years old, and playing the piano for years. Good luck in your experiments, stay safe.
