iStaticistic - Good useful application

I am all about my system performance and making sure my system is well maintained. Without this application I have other places to go or tools to use, but find this application extreemly handy and it pretty much provides all I need for a quick system check. Because I work hard to keep my system at its peek of performance, I feel the moment a process cuts in and starts using Memory, processor, and DISK. This affords me a quick snap and a dashboard view to check for unexpected processes, processes sucking up resources, how's my system doing status without having to drag out the big guns to investigate. I do not seem to have the problems other folks are reporting (knock on wood). While fan speeds would be a nice enhancement, it's not really necessary (for me at least). Fan speeds are tied closely to system temps and I already monitor this pretty closely using bios utilities. After all, excessive heat is the enemy of performance and hardware longitivtiy.Fantastic application. I look forward to future enhancements.

Where are the Sensor Data?

This used to be a useful app. But some time in the past year, the I/O sensor data disappeared. I've tried contacting app support (not easy!) and got no response.I re-downloaded the app and the I/O Sensors but the sensor data does not show up. The sensor section is present but no data are displayed.This review is a call to the developer to help. This would be a 4 star app (if not 5 stars) if the sensor I/O worked.

Wow another paying for the same app twice scheme

At least it's not a subscription scheme, although most apps I have purchased through the app store become subscription thief's shortly after. I't hasn't been a year since I purchased this & its companion app, "Netler," already they add & icon repackage the same app then, they want you to buy it again only not its a pro version. This is a much uglier app on big sur. Even if they only asked to charge you once for the same app, its way over priced. So was Netler. I bought a comparable app called "Monit," it was either a $1 or free I can't remember, but I bought it 4-5 years ago, it stays maintained/updated, looks better & actually has more functionality. Do your self a favor & look around before buying this over priced ripoff ware.

Pretty… but useless in some areas

Well crafted application, pleasantly laid out, useful information… EXCEPT the network speed. I’m on an Internet (not wi-fi) connection which Ookla states I get up to 90/85. The application has never, in 3 weeks since I bought it, over 12/8. What? I have even turned off wifi just to make sure. I have tried several speed engines, they all come in the 80’s on both upload and download. Thus, the app may be good for many things, but fails in the network speed category I had to turn it off because it reminded me that I wasted money (the network speed feature was the one item I was really intersted in).

Ookla and some other benchmarking services show results in Mbps (bits per second), while iStatistica or downloader apps/browsers show Mb/s (bytes per second). 1 Mb/s = 8 Mbps, that's why you see 12 but not ~90. iStatistica uses Mb/s, cause its way easier to understand how much time does it take to upload 500mb file to dropbox or what time does it take to download update of known size.
