Loving it so far; a few suggestions
Let me start by saying that this app is exactly what I was looking for. My wife and I need to get a picture of where our money is going currently before we try to set up a budget, so bringing in transactions from all our accounts are great. I'm really glad it works with Deutsche Bank here in Germany, but also can do USD-based accounts that we still have in the US.
I'm still going through and doing the initial classification stuff so far. A couple of suggestions based on that:
- The Accounts page keeps losing my place! It's annoying to have to scroll back down from October to July after editing a July transaction.
- (Previous complaint about search/bulk edit resolved by looking at the Support website!)
- Why no support for keyboards other than the Apple ones? Specifically wondering about Gboard. It makes sense for entering usernames and passwords, maybe, but not when editing item/account names or descriptions.
Developer Response ,
Hello, we're happy to hear that you like Wallet and enjoy using its features. We'd appreciate your feedback even after some time using the app as it gives us the opportunity to reflect on the current situation and add the options that our users need the most. Thank you!
(EDITED BELOW) I paid for premium and in the recent update as of Jan 1, 2018, they undid all my category changes and forced all their default categories on me. I have tried to deal category inflexibility of this app in a band aid manner. Now it seems the developers are intentionally trying to prevent power users from doing this. I'm leaving.
EDIT Jan 23: no labels ARE NOT THE SAME AS CATEGORIES. Labels can't pie-chart conveniently. They're also not hierarchical. Why did you force this category structure on is?! It's short-sighted.
EDIT 2: Okay, as long as my precious categories were restored, I am much relieved. I was almost ready to use another app! I'm glad you're allowing current users to keep their custom categories. So I'm changing my review to 4 stars.

Hi there, Sorry for the inconvenience. We know that many of our long-time users liked the old Categories structure, and we added Labels for a flexible way to view and organize your records. Please see more here: http://bit.ly/2yoauyQ. - Best, Jayson
This app has the potential to be great. It has a great design the user nav is simple in the app & browser, but once I finally got my bank account connected I fell flat on my face. I couldn’t figure out if it could pull old records to see past trends or know if it was only moving forward. I went to create an account with just CSV files I downloaded from my bank & called it “Other” in hopes that I could start working with some data. However I couldn’t get past the import section. I even edited the headers & separated data out in the CSV file. However, I kept getting the “There’s data in an unusual format” message & it kept telling me to check Row 3 🙄 When I clicked “Help” the page failed to load & said they were working on it. I’m just not sure what to do at this point other than get the money back for the paid portion & look elsewhere.

Hello, when importing your data the certain prerequisites need to be kept when it comes to the format. If the app navigated to the certain row, it might be that for this row there were either more details (more columns) compared to the others, or some data mismatch. I regret to hear that the Help section didn't work, there might have been maintenance at the time you were trying to reach the article. Here's more details about import https://bit.ly/2RFX7aE. Thank you for sharing your feedback and for using Wallet!
