DreamScreen is a television enhancement product that uses responsive LED backlighting that reacts to any HDMI video source. DreamScreen stretches the size of your screen, softens the picture and is easier on your eyes. It is the first of its kind worldwide to use any HDMI Video Content. DreamScreen TV App operates like a remote and offers a full range of control. Easily toggle through the different modes, adjust brightness and color settings.
Three Ways to Enjoy a DreamScreen! Video. Music. Ambient Lighting
Video – The LED lights behind your television react to the color pixels on your screen at 60 frames a second! DreamScreen creates an even better way to enjoy your favorite movies, tv shows and video games. No matter what the HDMI source, (Cable TV, Apple TV, Chromecast, AmazonFire, Roku, PlayStation, Xbox, and so many more) DreamScreen casts your movie or game to create an incredible new home theater experience.
Music – DreamScreen comes with a LED light audio visualizer that reacts to the music you are listening to. Watch the LED lights dance to your beats and create a party scene in any home or venue. Music mode will react to all of your favorite listening channels like Pandora, iTunes Media, Amazon, and more.
Ambient Lighting – Choose from an array of colored lighting to create a special ambiance at your home or event. The app offers a full range of colors and brightness.
This is devastating that it doesn’t work anymore after the recent iOS update. We literally used this dream screen on fire mode EVERY night watching tv, or on Video mode if we watched a movie with our Xbox, and now all we can do is manually cycle through the standard colors on the device. Absolutely heartbreaking. Yea I know this seems like a first world problem, but using the fire mode on these lights behind our TV every day made us forget we live in an urban townhouse surrounded by constant concerning movement and noise, when watching our “stories” we could truly relax and escape with our faux fireplace ambiance setup. Now we’re unable to escape because the developers, who sold us an expensive product, are unable/unwilling to update our software?? So sad.
Never works
AlixMachelle03
This app is absolutely terrible. It never works properly. It makes my cable box not catch a signal and since you can only change the input from the app, when the app isn’t working (which is all the time) you can forget about watching tv. No signal comes through for my cable and I can’t toggle between the inputs. It’s absolutely the worst. When it says it’s updating it updates like 50 million times and nothing ever changes. Also, sometimes it picks up colors that aren’t on the screen so it’ll be real dark in the show you’re watching and all of a sudden you’ll see red and green show up on the dream screen which is way off. Some serious issues. Would not recommend at all.
No Longer Supported

This app no longer works with the new iOS. Crashes before opening, tested with multiple devices. This prevents me from using any of the settings on the lights I spent a good amount of money for. All I can do now is cycle through one solid color at a time and change the brightness via the on-unit buttons. Not sure how long this has been happening or if there are any plans to fix, very frustrating.
Disappointed

I was an early adopter of the DreamScreen and was somewhat happy with the overall performance of the lighting system. However the app has not been updated for two years and is not compatible with newer iOS versions and basically causes the lights to be worthless. Will not purchase or recommend the product to anyone else now or in the future.
This update from Apple will improve the functionality of this app. No new features are included.
