There's only one AdBlock. Accept no substitutes.
Stop seeing ads on the web. AdBlock is the free, #1 most popular content blocker for Safari, with over 65 million users across all browsers.
Fast. Private. Ad-free.
AdBlock for Safari is the all-in-one app for a clean browsing experience and a private connection wherever you are - now with AdBlock VPN 4.0 built in.
From sneaky pop-ups to autoplay video ads, AdBlock puts a stop to the clutter - giving your devices a browsing experience that's safer, calmer, quicker, and more private.
What AdBlock Does for You
Ad blocking from the originals Blocks banner ads, pop-ups, and video ads so Safari loads what you came for, not the clutter.
Silence cookie pop-ups and disintegrate distractions No more tapping "accept" on every site you visit. No more floating video ads. AdBlock deals with cookie prompts, overlays, and newsletter boxes so you slide right through.
Faster pages. Less data. Longer battery. Every blocked ad is less for your phone to download, render, and power. Pages snap open and your battery lasts longer too.
Now with AdBlock VPN 4.0 - Upgrade to unlock a private, secure connection wherever you browse:
100+ locations built for speed Connect to servers across the globe. Your traffic is encrypted on coffee shop Wi-Fi, hotel networks, airport lounges, and everywhere in between.
Threat Protection built in Trackers blocked and malicious sites flagged before they ever reach your device. Protection that travels with you, not just inside Safari.
Ad blocking across your apps The VPN extends ad blocking beyond Safari, so pages and apps stay clean, fast, and light on your battery.
One AdBlock subscription, all your devices. Unlock the premium ad blocking experience on iPhone, iPad, Mac, and other platforms. One subscription protects them all.
Built by a team you can trust AdBlock has protected browsers for over a decade and is used by more than 65 million people worldwide. This is the next step - everything you expect from AdBlock, plus the VPN you've been waiting for.

New and “improved”
markus6575
New and improved is definitely NOT what this new version is. The old very simple one where we updated the lists manually worked perfect and this new, “improved” fancy one is garbage. It has made safari almost useless. Almost every page errors out to a black screen that says, “a problem repeatedly occurred on https……”. I have no idea why companies continually change something that worked for something that doesn’t work. If it ain’t broke why “fix it”?? I’m really sad to see the old very simple and very effective one gone for this garbage.☹️

Updated Version ≠ Updated Experience
RarelyWritesReview
Previous version blocked far more ads on most websites and now it appears that the EasyList for Acceptable Ads is turned on by default with no way to turn it off. Speaking of.. what happened to List Management in the app? No way to see what blocking lists are actually in use.

Thank you for your feedback. Since the update to 4.0.0 was significant, you may need to re-enable AdBlock permissions. Please follow these steps: 1) Open AdBlock for Safari + VPN. 2) Tap Safari Blocking and ensure Block Ads is ON. 3) On your iOS device, go to Settings > Apps > Safari > Extensions > AdBlock. 4) Toggle Allow Extension ON. 5) Select All Websites and Allow. If ads persist, please contact us at help@getadblock.com and mention this review for quicker assistance. Update Downgrade
TxnTom
New version installed and now ads that were being blocked are now getting through without problem. Went through the setup and the ads are showing. iOS upgrade failure.
