Downloaded just a few months ago and love the app. Swing Profile beats the other two that I tried hands down. Easy to use and automatic swing capture feature is extremely useful and allows you to take multiple swings without going back and forth to the phone! You get immediate feedback on your swing which is extremely useful when you are trying to make a change. No guessing of what you just did!I use an extendable selfie stick to attach the phone and practice in my backyard. I would like the developer to give users more specific directions regarding how to place the phone to capture the best videos e. g. how far from the golfer/ball and how far above the ground for both down the line and front views. Overall very happy with the product and customer support was excellent. Had issue with Apple billing me twice but resolved very quickly to my satisfaction!

Absolutely outstanding golf app that everyone should be using

Having been a Division 1 decathlete in college, I learned early on that practicing bad habits only makes it worse. I wanted eyes on me at all times to be sure I was practicing good habits. The same goes for golf, even more so. Not only do you have to learn what habits to avoid, you have to confirm that you definitely aren’t grooving those bad habits. Swing Profile gives you the ability to easily film, review, compare, etc your swing. And miraculous, this app allows you to do that with no one’s help. It’s all automatic. When I’m on the range, I simply clip my iphone to my bad and hit record. Swing Profile will record just your swing. I then just go back and hit the review button and see if I’m accomplishing what I want. When I want to review my swing more in-depth, the app allows you to draw lines and circles and everything you need to see what your movements are. This is exactly what any good golf professional will do as well. The history is also very useful. I can go back to past swings and see how I’ve progressed. Or even see particular moves I liked in the past that I’ve forgotten about. We all know that quite often what we “feel” is not actually what is happening. We have to see it to be sure. I highly recommend this app to anyone working on their swing.

Love The New Resolution Support

Unless I’m crazy and completely missed something before now, I love that SwingProfile on the iPad now supports vertical (portrait) swing filming. (IIRC, this was only supported on the iPhone before.) With the new portrait filming mode on iPad, I can now use two old iPads (one for the down-the-line view, and the other for face-on view) and output the instant replays to vertically-oriented TVs and the picture mostly fills the TVs with large, tall rectangular pictures which is easy to view vs. before where it was just a large square picture with lots of empty space on a horizontally mounted TV. Also, thanks to the developers for the update that retains the “allow rear camera” preference between practice sessions. Now I just have to get a SkyTrak and attach that to my projector and my home golf simulator will be complete!
Didn’t Work for Me.

Found this analyzer pretty straightforward. Was impressed with its options, so I gave it a try. I bought in the Fall, but due to injury, I didn’t start using until recently. I’m having problems using the auto capture and the replay. Using the manual option works, but that’s more cumbersome than using the auto. The drawing tool options are good but difficult to control and get aligned. The trim option does work very well and is very handy using the manual recording option. Support was very responsive. I tried their suggestions to no avail, including multiple distance adjustments and reinstalling. As I can’t use several options, I hoped for at least a partial refund. The Developer surprisingly issued a complete refund. Although this app didn’t work for me, it has very good features and the company certainly stands behind what they sell.
